I like Couture, but after being knocked out twice by Liddel (LHW), he had to do something to prove he is a top HW.

What he did? He won a decision over Tim Sylvia.

But since then, the 2 top HWs of all time (Fedor and Nogueira) submitted Sylvia. They didnt need a decision.

For that reason, I dont think Couture is a top HW.

There are also other fighter who would prolly have no problem to beat Sylvia, like Barnett.

Beating Tim Sylvia dont make anyone a top HW.

Being at the top of the UFC at any weight I think makes someone top at that weight. I do agree with you as far as Fedor/Nogueira but to not include Randy in that group does not sound logical.

Joe Frazier was easily knocked out by George Foreman. He was however a top heavyweight of his time. Styles make fights and almost all fighters have an Achilles heal with regards to certain fighters or their styles.

Fedor is such a tremendous fighter. He also seems to be a class act and very humble and soft spoken. It's so rare and nice to see someone who is very great but doesn't have a massive ego.
