think of it like this RB was the first Full Band game the undercharted their songs because they wanted uit to be more easy for a full group of people to sit down and have a good time playing well Harmonix noticed that people were getting bored of the easiness of RB so then came DLCs harder DLCs then soon RB2, which in my oppion is pretty hard certain songs, but guitar hero was going to have to do somthing besides just guitar or else they wouldnt be 2 popular anymore! so they come with GHWT

2. No, Neversoft overcharted the shit out of their songs in GH3, however, in World Tour and so on, they have done better. Harmonix doesn't overchart, nor undercharts. Harmonix and Neversoft are at a standpoint at almost perfect charting.

It was a good thing that Neversoft did what they did to GH3, it's still the best rhythm game to come out due to the difficulty of it.

I just wish the GH branch would stick to their name, guitar.

GH3 was extremely successful, yes, but everything else after that was just crap.

guitar hero is too repetitive, some people say its better because its harder. but something being harder than something else doesnt mean its better. BTW, guitar hero came out BEFORE rock band, so just because rock band is newer and people arent used to playing, that still doesnt mean it sucks.

Being a mega hardcore player myself, I can assure you that Guitar Hero: World tour is the fuck easiest of all of the Guitar Hero/Rock Band games out there today. There is only ONE hard song on that game, and the DLC's are piss poor in terms of difficulty (and song choices might I add).

I personally prefer Rock Band 2 over Guitar Hero: World Tour mainly because I'm colorblind and the solo notes and notes period during Star Power are hard for me to see on Guitar Hero. However, Guitar Hero has some songs that I wish were on Rock Band (Free Bird, One, Hotel California for starters), but overall I think Rock Band wins. Most people prefer GH because they're used to it, not because it's the better game.

Triple notes aren't tough at all, maybe for people with 2 fingers. The RB notes seem more realistic, but the GH ones look more fun. For me the tougher a song is, the more fun I have.

They're startlingly similar, but RB2 is both more interesting and more similar to the actual guitar play. GHWT wins most of the other shared songs, but this one is obviously RB2's feather.
