Because of Wii 4.0 Update, to install homebrew, and play copied and import Wii games, plus DVD's without a modchip, you need to use the guide / software at:
me too..im a lil confused about the whole WAD thing..what ezactly are they, all i know is every time i try to play doom or quake from the SD card it gives me a wad error
You can't, the Homebrew Channel is a .wad file technically, and you need a Homebrew Application called "WAD installer v2.2" or "WAD Manager v1.3" WHICH YOU NEED HOMEBREW CHANNEL TO DOWNLOAD.
you need to add a file in the root of your sd card called "apps" (without quotations) with these files: boot.elf (or boot.dol), icon.png (it might not have one, though), and meta.xml. Then, you will have the app.
I have problems here, if anyone an help it would be NICE.... :(
I have installed Wii Homebrew Channel.
I have done what they write on how to install the emulators, but they don't install. Do I have to remove the installer of Homebrew Channel before using the twilight hack?... Every time I use it I keep installing the homebrew channel, and not the emulators.
I've been playing around with homebrew, but how do you replace rom's with the VC channel like your chrono trigger-in-DKC2 trick? I dunno what to search for to do it myself.
Download Auto Injectuwad (Google it). You can take a ROM for a system and inject it into whatever WAD you like. Be careful though, not all ROMS are compatible with N64 WADs. But any SNES channel should run any SNES ROM. Auto Injectuwad does not change the channel's banner.
if you put the WAD INSTALLER in the ELF folder, run your HOMEBREW channel, and select the WAD INSTALLER and it'll install the games. You can avoid like 2 or 3 screens you went to...
While you're at it, why not just make a WAD Installer channel? Some people, including myself, have issues with loading things from the front SD when using the homebrew channel. IE. SNES emu will load fine, but then when you attempt to load a game, it dies. The workaround is to use a loader that supports front SD such as WiiHL. That is why I did this, and it allows me to have more then one homebrew that's easily accessable.
now i have a channel to run wad installer AND i can press A on my gcpad instead of having to get up and press reset on the actual console ;) 3shey good sirs! lmao! go paradox and waninkoko you well oiled machines you!
for download all software?

The ONLY way to unlock your Wii to play copied and import games, plus DVD's and homebrew WITHOUT a mod chip, is to use:
nintendo-wii-homebrew-unlock-hack.blogspot(DOT)com
This will work on ANY Wii, even 4.2, and does NOT require Zelda!

could anybody save the HBC onto an sd card and upload it as a *.zip file so that people without ZTP or a modchip can use it too?
(of course it should be available for downlaod then ^^")

Therefore, you fail.

The emulators need to be installed in the apps folder, not using the twilight hack
it saves alot of time.

Does the firmware update matters with this?
Supermario214 3 years ago
Nope, can use with any current firmware version and any version of Twilight Princess.
nunim 3 years ago
The latest firmware update stops the TP hack, but not the HBC
FullmetalJudgement 3 years ago
it doesn't stop the new version of the tp hack
TheSolidSnake12 3 years ago

Robsie2300 3 years ago
