I'm so glad that they lived good life with owners like you. I have two cats barely 1 year old each, grateful and hopeful to be with them as long as with you and Kushka or maybe longer. It's a Burmese girl and I think she's pregnant and the other one I forgot what it was called but has dark brown and light browns fur with black, also a white socks on his feet. I have a ?, how come my cat has a lump on his tail? He's been going outside and maybe been into some fights...
Thanks for your nice comment. Lumps on tails are usually nothing to worry (one of my cats is 12 and she's a big lump on her tail for years) - to be absolutely safe, next you go the vet ask him/her to have a look at it - but don't worry!
mine died a month ago, poor fella died of hearth attack :( , miss him, well he was a happy old ''fat'' cat, got 16 years old. i'm happy that he lived so long
she is sooo beautiful! and is exactly like my 18 yr old burmese boy, hes getting slow in his old age but still loves to play and jump and sleep of course!
Thanks for your kind comment - I've posted a more interesting video of Kushka on here called "Kushka - So Beautiful". Burmese cats do live a long time so I'm sure Hershel (great name) will be around for many more years.
OOOOOOOOOHHH thanks so much for tellin!!! sounds silly but ever since the beginning i m afraid of the day my burmese boy will pass away.. he s turned 7. it s just they ve got SOO lovely personalities and are so attached to their ppl, life without that special cat is hard to imagine. plus i ll have to leave mine with my parents for 3 or 4 yrs when i go abroad *Big tears*
I'm sure your Burmese boy will be around for many more years - well after you come back from being abroad. Kushka helped me to learn to appreciate her throughout all the time she was with me - don't even think about losing your Burmese boy - that's too far in the future!
silly question: do u see the vet regularly?! i m a bit of a pharma and doctor sceptical person, with doctors for human beings as well as for pets. since i m sure my childhood guinea pig was infected with sth at the vets, and died a horrible death of this infection, I stopped trusting them, and do not see one with my cat. He s an indoor cat exclusively. I read your Ritz has had organ dysfunctions - how do you notice? through regular vet visits? silly questions i know!!Lulu s lovely!
my little best buddy burmese called ziggy had to be euthanased 2 days ago. it was so hard to take him to the vet for this and i stayed with him to the end and closed his eyes. he had kidney and liver failure and was verry skiny . i gave him an insulin injection every day for the last 4 years of his life for diabetes . he was 19 . His last few days were not nice to watch . I havnt stopped crying since , Who would think this would break your heart . I will miss him dearly
James, I'm so sorry to hear that - and I do understand how you feel. Two things for sure - Ziggy had a great life with you and he knew how much you loved him. I'm sure you know this, but in time you'll remember the good times with Ziggy rather than the last few days - because the good times - 19 years of them - are just too wonderful to forget.
Thanks for your kind comment - I also have a longer, more interesting vid of Kushka on here - you must be psychic - it's called "Kushka - so beautiful".
Thank-you for your comment - I'm sorry to hear about Luger - clearly another special Burmese. I've posted a slightly more interesting vid of Kushka on here called "Kushka - So Beautiful" - I hope you like it and maybe some shared sentiments with Luger.
aww nice video! glad your cat lived a very long and happy life, i have a chocolate burmese called storm whom i love to bits! i just hope mine lives until that age! infact i never let mine out on his own as burmese are too trusting and have no or little survival instincts, did you replace your beloved burmese with a new one? the original one you have is always difficult to replace with a new cat for a while but that goes away and you find love and joy again with the new one.
Thanks so much for the comment - in fact I've just posted another video of Kushka - set to music, so do have a look at that. Yes, after a while I did get another cat - not just for me - Kushka's life-long partner Ritz the Siamese (also a vid on here) had never been alone, so I eventually acquired Lulu the Oriental kitten (also on here and now 18 months old). Yes, Lulu is loved to bits and whilst evidently Ritz and I miss Kushka, life does go on.
thanks so much i cant get enough of cats i am crazy about cats! i am britsh and moved to italy last year and it saddens me how many homeless cats their are! i feed all of the ones i find and try to help them. I will take a look at all your vids thanks so much!!, regards Helena

my cat was skinny as hell..
because his kidneys didn't work anymore. the pet docter actually was shocked. she didnt want him to live anymore, she felt really sorry for him.
but we didn't knew that he was so sick.

I'm very sorry to hear that - but 18 is a very good age - you obviously took great care of your cat and your cat would have understood that.
