  • I was there! I miss Battle Cry/Aquire the Fire. Haven't been able to go in a few years because we got a new youth pastor and he isn't really into concerts.

  • The people in this band sure are genuine. They came and played a concert at our small church in a small town and they gave every ounce of themselves to worship God just like at the big events like this one. They are a breath of fresh air. After the concert there were the nicest people ever too.

  • submissive does not mean what you think it means. It just means that the woman should support her husband in all that he does because the man is the head of the family. It does not mean being a slave.

  • Husbands are to give up themselves to their wives. I think that sounds like a bigger sacrifice than being submissive.

    It works both ways. The bible is never wrong.  It is the word of God. Read it, and you'll get it.

  • That's not a sacrifice at all. They basically are only required to love their wives, while the wives are required to obey him and to speak only when spoken to.

    Your God is racist and cruel, and not real. The fact that you believe men should control women shows that there is indeed something wrong with christians.

  • The word of God tells us that women should submit to men.  Likewise it says men should love women like Christ loved the Church. I might be off in saying this, but that's a lot of love and compassion. So if then, the woman plays her role in submission, then she has nothing to worry about if the man she (hopefully carefully) chooses to marry is also abiding in Christ.

  • Teen Mania Ministries, the people that brought you BattleCry, use the same marketing to get you hooked that companies like McDonalds and MTV use. They realize the youth are the key to victory and thus they ensure they can hook new "converts" as young as possible. BattleCry is NOT rebellion, it is conformity in the most traditional sense.

  • If you attend any event hosted by Teen Mania Ministries, (Battle Cry, Acquire the Fire, Honor Academy) you are lending your support to a man that believes woman should always be 100% submissive to a man. You are giving support to a group that believes God wants them to have slaves. You are giving support to a group that is no better than the Taliban, they just have better marketing.
