  • wow, thats pretty friggin amazing, if he can group 5 inches at 1000 yards, jusy makes you think what could have he done back in the day.

  • These men of this era were of a true character! The world we live in now is truly disgusting!

  • I absolutely love seeing the mutual respect of these guys and the reverence of the younger soldiers for an elder who has gone before them. Impressive job Mr. Gundy-both today and in your previous service.

  • Awesome!

  • Thanks for being a ww2 hero.

  • What a man! Thanks, That was GREAT!

  • nice 5*

  • makes me proud to be serving my country and makes me want to work harder and be better at what I do.

  • Wow ! That was so touching to watch. It was so impressive too: )

  • Wow cool he can still shoot!

  • This guy has a facebook page. LOL. Great man.

  • 5*****

  • I wonder which unit he was in at that time. It said that he was in Bastogne, was it during the Siege of Bastogne or before/after?

  • So Amazing....

  • OUT STANDING!

This man was a true soldier and gentlemen. Too bad we've got smarmy little pukes in this country today that would never been anything like this fine gentleman.

  • @GutpileCharlie I second that,Todays generation sucks. The guys from the 30s,40s,50s are pure down to earth human beings

  • Great video! He's truly one of the greatest generation!

  • Thanks Sasha, this was amazing!

What a great guy, and still such a fine shooter.

  • PERFECT ! 5*

sasha, did they say,he has finished service in 1944? was he wounded ? i thought that all US forces except USAAC-USAAF had to be there until very end.

my english is pretty weak, did they mention if pacific or european battlefield?

    thank you

  • @petrwarry72 Thanks my friend! yep it appears he did leave service in late 1944,I did some digging and it says Mr.Gundy is an amputee,I suppose he likely lost one of his legs in the war. Gundy served in Europe - over in Belgium in Bastogne :-)

  • @SashaVedernikov thanks a lot mate. brave heart he is.

  • @SashaVedernikov oh yes , i should have figured out that , i wasn't sure when younger soldier mentioned battle of bulge ....if he means army in general or this mr.gundy.

    my englishis hopeless anyway. cheers

  • Meeting men like this sends chills down my spine just as bad as hearing the national anthem does. God bless this man.

  • I watch this every time it comes on TV here. It chokes me up a bit to see the feeling Mr. Gundy conveys when he is speaking to today's Army troops, and his humbleness when he is honored by them. Truly a member of the Greatest Generation. Thanks for uploading this!

  • @ballermann907 Anytime my friend,Gundy sure is a humble and modest guy,my hat's off to him

  • It would be a dream to meet this man. His more than extraordinary service for the betterment of this country at that time immediately gives me a debt I could never repay. Not only that, but I have the utmost respect for all snipers, past and present from any country. Damn, this guy is amazing

  • @ChicagoOutfit1900 A real hero indeed, the were the greatest generation truly

  • Thankyou for upload this video my friend!

  • @niksechtniks Anytime buddy!
