Lin Dan was born on Oct 1983, Taufik on Aug 1981 - that's only about 2 years age gap. TH has yet to beat LD since 2007 (when he was still 25). Yes, TH is without a doubt a very talented player, but as a competitive player, he is behind LD.
Lin Dan is about same age asTaufik, but he is still as great - Taufik standard has dropped drastically - he has never won a game (and indeed only a match n all their encounters) against LD for the past 5 years
Taufik is still a great player at age 29. Sure there are younger/stronger players out there, there'll always be. That shouldn't phase out what he's accomplished in the world circuit.
It's no accident the same bunch of guys stays on the top 10 every year.

Yeah, I knew Taufik from his amazing backhand smashes. I am shocked how he can make such a shot so easily and make it look play it to perfection. So yah, nice trick shot but not his TradeMark really
Taufik is a loser in this game. On the other hand, indonesian fans as a whole are all-time losers; especially the chinese speaking indons who made ill-gotten money and bolted their own country(loyalty absolutely doubtful)yet when come to badminton, they want to show their loyalty. Those chinese are cowards

taufik won the olympics, he's won the asian games, he's won the world championships, hes been to ae final.
He's won it all, he's not motivated enough anymore.

Taufik is old and his fitness is also not as great as Lin Dan but he is still a legend :D
