One day on, completely sober, and i think its a good catchy pop tune with a fun driving beat well delivered with much enthusiasm. No more, no less. its not life changing stuff. But i love it.
"I Want That Man is a hit single released in 1989 by Deborah Harry - her first solo single to be released using her Christian name Deborah instead of 'Debbie'. The track was written and produced by former Thompson Twins members, Alannah Currie and Tom Bailey"
I love the music and chorus melody, but the Lyrics i find awkward as a male listening to it, wish the lyrics were different so i could get away with liking it, i know that seemns incredibley shallow and cowardly, but i'd enjoy it more that way
yeah right on!! hahaha for its pretty awkward to sing this song but it is a pretty good tune musically, and vocal wise... but the lyrics lol i cant sing that! may be cowardly but cmon!! lol!! xD

It's sad... She looks like a drunken sleepy karaoke-ho. Before you shoot me, please know that I really admire Debbie but she could have done better with her hair/clothes/coreography.
Still i think you are being a bit tough on her, take a look at her early history, early 70's she dressed wild and sang wild i think she has still got that theme in her.
When you are a fan who is addressing other fans, you cannot word comments in that way and expect people not to get upset. You could have simply said "That isn't my favourite look or performance of Debbie's". There is no need to be downright rude.
She looks weird to me here, her eyes look pushed into her head or something. They seemed so huge in Blondie and here they look small. Maybe it's a counterfeit Debbie, the same way Saddam Houssein had a dozen little fake Housseins running around as a decoy! LOL
Debbie said with the BLONDIE name on these records, they would have been taken more seriously and been more successful. Well look at the film -debbie on vocals/chris on guitar/and leigh foxx on bass-10 years later half of the reformed BLONDIE
Yeah, I agree! I grew up LOVING Deborah Harry. When I started seeing Michelle Pfeiffer in movies, I thought she had a strikingly similar look. Interesting, then, that Michelle is now playing the role that Debbie originally played in Hairspray. Too bad the original film was not a musical. Debbie would have ROCKED that!
You're right, they do look a lot alike and I also found it funny that they have the same role in Hairspray. Both are amazing women. Debbie rocks and this song is great, thanks pts1234 for sharing!
AH! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who finds them strikingly similar! I am totally in love with both of them <3 Debbie actually once said that if there were to be a movie made about her in the past, she'd want Michelle Pfeiffer the play her! :]]
As if her legs aren't enough, along with her talent and hot looks, did anyone else notice how hot she looks when she pulls that yellow jacket down over her shoulders...mmmmm mmmmm good.

I doubt pretty seriously that christianity had anything to do with it- she thinks Deborah is a prettier name.
