@itsamonster Only By The Night minus Cold Desert is my least favourite album by far there's no southern feel or stadium sound it's just kinda average. On Come Around Sundown I think they've incorporated both these elements like Back Down South is classic KoL but it's also perfect in front of 80,000 people like I saw at Slane.. Absolutely unbelievable

He uses a Boss ME-50 for the octave up effect when he plays the doo doo doo doo part. Then for his reverb he uses a Line 6 Verbzilla either the Cave or Octo setting I'm not sure.

I'm sure he's using some sorta distortion or overdrive to help out. He's got an MXR Micro Amp and a Visual Sound Route 66 so he might be using one of those two for that.
