For some reason Omega Mark XII seemed easy after fighting this guy and defeating him.
this game has to be the hardest final fantasy, it's all very complex with the gambit system and licenses, but still it is very fun, idk why everyone uses the three guys, i beat yiazmat with ashe fran and penelo haha.
lol it took me like 4+ hours to kill this beast, i dont know for sure cuz i paused it halfway through and continued the next day, he's not that hard its just you gotta pay attention cuz you get so bored you don't notice your people dying sometimes
Zodiark is pretty easy, he's nothing but a big pushover and far to overrated. Omega is the hardest boss in FF12, but with preperation not even he is that hard.
2 characters with shell shield, all dark absorb, a great attacker, perfect backup with lure and reverse + revivers and of all, a fully charged dark matter and he really is nothing. He wil be gone in a few minutes.
Omega on the other hand can deal 6000+ damage each 2 seconds and able to give beserk on hit. He is the most painfull and difficult boss in this game.
If you know how Zodiark works he truly is nothing, lot of preparation and Zodiark is sure to go down.
what if, by using nihopalaoa on all party members. And the gambit is set up by throwing Remedy and Megalixirs to Yiazmat. That should deal high amount of damage.
Hell Wyrm was so easy at lvl 99. Why did Behemoth King gave me problems than Hell Wyrm? Weird. Anyways thanks for the video. It gave me some few points on how to handle Yiazmat. After a long gruelling 8 hours, I managed to defeat this guy with no Windbreakers, a trouble with MP handling, and finishing the hunt at Stage 4. Now its Omega mark. wooo
Just fought Yiazmat for the first time with a level 90 party...wow, I was in no way prepared for that. It wasn't pretty--took nearly 6 hours--but I got the job done.
It took me a while to figure out how to counter Death Strike and Cyclone. Man, I wish I'd had a couple of Windbreakers available...
Still, I managed to do it in 1 stage. Surely that counts for something :)
Stage 3 only mean that he left 3 times during the battle either to heal in a safe place or to save it has nothing to do with International Zodiac Job System...
all my people are level 99 :) if you want level 99 with no training buy a game shark and restart your game youl have to get through everything again but game shark lets you get vaan to lvl 99 as soon as you use the game sharks cheat for it then after that each person you meet will be lvl 99 as well and it also gives 9999 license points each time so no training or pointless killing at all

you can do it after reaching Balfonheim Port(near the end of the game, you have to do the vyraal hunt then exchange the vyraal scales you get for the Ageworn Key in the Cerobi Steppe after that go in the Sochen Cave Palace and do a rotation clockwise to unlock a secret area at the end of it use the key on the door and Hell Wyrm is there, be at least lvl 60 to beat him
yeah it's true but i don,t suppose if he don,t know where is Hellw Wyrm that he's doing an 122333 so I told him the recommended lvl to do it, some even beat Omega at 122333 but it's not recomended
I think so but not sure Omega is much much stronger -6000-8000 dmg per hit, and Yiazzy is like 4000-5000, but since omega only have 1 000 000 Hp it makes him less difficult to kill

you just use arise at lvl 65-67 with a hand-bomb and you kill him?? sorry but I don,t believe you lol... he'll either wipe your three with Cyclone or kil one with Death Strike and kill the others befro you could arise the other...

i used vaan as "tank" for yiazmat, had berserk, protect, haste, bravery on him the whole fight and had the whole genji set, along with masamune. penelo had zodiac spear i think and ashe with some greatsword...they healed and buffed vaan and each other. had vaan in front and the other two on either side, out of range of white breath but in range to heal the others. Last bars: reverse, siphon vaans mana alot
whew pain isn't he? i just beat him 30 mins ago, had to resort to reverse and decoy on Basch cause he kept hitting me up to 10 hit combos ouch... if you are interested i used ragnorok, tornosal and masamune on him (yeah i beat the game so early with no guide i cant get my spear and was too lazy for those ninja swords) yes im at lvl 99. after doing all this on 12 i am mentally burned glad i beat him and congrats to you too, you are good with these bosses

this isn't exactly a hard battle, it's mroe of an endurance test. Zodiark is the real challenge.
But this is still satisfying as hell when you finally finish it.

Yiazmat is immune to all status effects so Remedy wouldn't do any good. I haven't tried Megalixir though--that's a good idea.

You don't have the Zodiac Spear. That sucks.
And a better way to fight that fiend is to use Decoy/Reverse on just Vaan and have him move behind it so it have to turn around and attack only him.

i saw u using reverse and decoy in the battle:( thats so uber. my brother is ONLY level 76 and he has already beaten the Yaizmat.

That's just how the game is...probably not though since your agility is higher at level 99

Reminds me too much of Tanking in World of Warcraft heh. Really long epic battles and all I can see is the bosses feet :D bah. Nice job.

Yeah this guy is huge! Probably the biggest thing you can fight in the game, and this guy is the hardest...3 hour fight!
