The puzzles DID get a little annoying, and it would have been nice if the hints were a little clearer. The hints had a bit of an attitude to tham XD

If I had to pick between the two I'd definitely pick Professor Layton. Great puzzles, cool story, and you can skip some puzzles and still play. Hotel Dusk is much less forgiving of mistakes:)

Yes, I heard that Hotel Dusk was a lot more meticulous than Professor Layton. Is it true you can really be thrown out the hotel if you overlook something?

You can get kicked out, but it's not so much for missing anything. It's more for just doing anything wrong (eg. ticking off the wrong person). As I said in the review, the game is very linear with no real freedom to go 'off script' as it were. Hotel Dusk is good, but treat it as a electronic graphic novel instead of a game.

Well, I've mostly definitely made my decision. I think I'll enjoy Professor Layton a bit more anyway (though I'll still keep an eye out for Hotel Dusk later:) Thanks.

I love Hotel dusk and i would realy chose this game.The plot , characters , graphic all are just great.Profesor layton is smth like puzzle game , it didnt intrest me much.

No idea what the hum is other then perhaps background noise like the air conditioning system in the building. I'm still a neophyte when it comes to sound for my videos....trying to fix it for my next one.
