Reviewers always cry about screen tearing and slow down but I NEVER notice these things in games so I wish they would stop saying every game has it unless it's a game breaker.
7.8 is way too low. This game had flaws in game balance and game design, but it was overall great. And the Black Throne, while a pain in the ass, wasn't as bad as I thought after figuring out some things (without a guide, though, it would've been much worse). The thoughtfulness that went into the secrets, Abyssal Armor and Wicked K were pretty good. The story was, however, incoherent in it's explanations and needed a lot of work. But it was overall great as I said before. I'd give it an 8.7.

I must agree. The bosses weren't weak in the slightest. I found them to be challenging and fun. It was real rewarding when you found out how to defeat them.
@LukeHB21 Let me rephrase that, originality isn't necessary. An original game isn't always a good one. Darksiders is original where it counts, in story and style, but as far as real game mechanics go, originality only goes as far as adding some slight thing to a game. Completely original games more often then not completely fail with certain exceptions. This generation has run out of original ideas for the most part though.
I think the guy's right about the boss fights I'm mainly pointing towards the fight with tiamat that was ridiculous but the rest of the game is sheer awesomeness. This guy some other stupid ass things but I've never played zelda and I only played the 1st GOW so this s epic for me. And I think it is for many other people who have played the games.

Well the dungeons obviously were not as good as Zelda ones because.. well nothing is Zelda but Zelda. Still they were pretty good and I enjoyed this game more than GoW 3 to be honest (not as much as Skyward Sword tho :P).

I bought this game for $25 last year but sadly I returned it after a week of playing. I just don't like games with puzzles and challenge. But thats just me.
I personally didn't think WAR'S wings matched the rest of the graphics in the game. You almost get the feeling they were borrowed from ICO/Shadow of the Colossus. lol His wings should have looked like the wings of those bird-like people.
The graphics are exactly the same you would find in today's comic books. AWESOME! This game reminds me of "Draconus cult of the Wrym" for SEGA'S DREAMCAST, but the storyline isn't as deep and interesting, and this game is much, much longer. I'm surprised at how much the creators were able to get on one disk. Last, while I was playing this game I was certain that the final BOSS FIGHT would be between "WAR" and "SAMiAEL", but I was wrong.
@MyComicStyle - I brought the game a month ago and just finished it today. I didn't play it in live mode. Nevertheless, I found this game to be very, very long. The end was a bit surprising and not what I expected.This game get's more interesting and fun as you progress. The puzzles can sometimes feel impossible, but are really simple when you take the time to study them and figure them out.

just download the latest patch , if your on xbox and connected to xbox live the update will start automatically when you launch the game .

The thing is, MW3 does not have all of that going for it, its just a lame excuse for a DLC that they call a full game. There isn't any objective truth about which game has better sound because an engine only spits out what you put into it, and we all have different tastes. Any number at the end of a review is absolutely meaningless, even if it has a decimal point. You'd have to be delusional to look at a game and believe that the graphics somehow equal 8.5.

There is no list of technical specs that objectively proves which game "sounds better." Every reviewer has different tastes. If you had to choose between two MP3s, one of your favorite band and the other a recording of Justin Bieber spraying shit into a coffee mug, you wouldn't have to look up the bit rates to determine which you prefer.

Aesthetics are 100% personal preference, Trine 2 is a perfect example, the game is gorgeous but the graphics are terrible, Crysis 2 got one of the best graphical engines nowadays but it doesnt appeal to everyone because its not as "pretty" as some would like, or if you wish, the" aesthetics" is not that great, so some people might like Trine 2 better than Crysis 2 but it doesnt change the facts.

@bezoro2008 I've beaten darksiders...and to be honest, i didnt find it as "Amazing" as everyone sais. I find it rather boring to be quite honest. War is a forgettable character, and the maps are overdone, just like the story. I don't think you or some people realize 7.8 is a good score. Plus its a matter of obinion. Mw3 seemed a bit more, "Put together" In my opinion, and i'm not a huge CoD fan. So shut up, Play your game, quit complaining, and be thankful you have video games.

I personally didn't think WAR'S wings matched the rest of the graphics in the game. You almost get the feeling they were borrowed from ICO/Shadow of the Colossus. lol His wings should have looked like the wings of those bird-like people.

The graphics are exactly the same you would find in today's comic books. AWESOME! This game reminds me of "Draconus cult of the Wrym" for SEGA'S DREAMCAST, but the storyline isn't as deep and interesting, and this game is much, much longer. I'm surprised at how much the creators were able to get on one disk. Last, while I was playing this game I was certain that the final BOSS FIGHT would be between "WAR" and "SAMiAEL", but I was wrong.

@MyComicStyle - I brought the game a month ago and just finished it today. I didn't play it in live mode. Nevertheless, I found this game to be very, very long. The end was a bit surprising and not what I expected.This game get's more interesting and fun as you progress. The puzzles can sometimes feel impossible, but are really simple when you take the time to study them and figure them out.

I was thinking, like, "Alright, I'm very good at God of War, people say this is like God of War, so I'll play it in Hard Mode", haha. I'm kinda stuck, though, at one of the bosses, or mini-bosses, or whatever. You know, the one that throws a car at you, has huge claws or something. He looks pretty cool and is faster than he looks.
