first of all locks have always only kept honest people out, thats a fact. I did locksmithing for many years and i constantly check out peoples technique, this by no means will imply criminal intent. Good job on the vid but its a suitcase lock and they tend to be much easier than a properly secure tumbler set or dimple setup. It is too big a topic to simply give a person a win solution for home security, but when it comes down to it, I found 2 cane korsos and an alarm to work for me. gl all

Locksmith here, you dont need an orginal key for this lock to make a Bump Key, it can be made from a key that is similar to the one here. / many profiles will fit a similar key.

You don't know anything about Bump Keys, do you?

They are usually the same key used for a certain lock. The only difference is, that the ridges are filed down, so you can use this key on any type of lock, which it fits in.

Of course it's a key from a bond lock, but if you compare them, you'll see that the ridges are filed down on the bump-key.

I used a triangular file to file down a normal key that fitted in the lock.

Yes and no, you need for all brands of locks different bump keys, you could try it, but some brands are safe, so that only the police / locksmiths can buy them. You should say nine nine nine key because they understand then better what you mean.

Normally, when you buy a lock, you get 2 Keys, i took the second key, and filed the "mountains" down.

Yes, i think so, if you make a well bump key, and that's hard! On so a small lock, it's really easy, but on bigger locks, it's harder ;-) but try it yourself, buy a file set in your hardware store, and file, file file! ;-)
