Well for starters, we have the legal separation of church and state. As such, no governmental body at any level may favor or disallow one religion's rights, over another's to the extent that no one is in physical danger. This includes Islam. @AndrewDeLonge This is a case of the cart pulling the horse. You have already made your judgment thus condemning any protests or legal action is unethical or unconstitutional. We have a legal system to make these determinations only after protests or legal action are attempted.
My analogy is not meant to be exact, its meant to demonstrate there is a legal process and we should let things ride through it.

I did not say it was illegal to PROTEST against the building of Park 51 (aka: G-0 Mosque) I said it was illegal to BAN them due to the fact that they are constitutionally protected from any...ANY government interference...at ANY level, be it federal, state, or local.
Again, I NEVER said you can't protest, I simply said you cannot legally BAN them.

Well for starters, we have the legal separation of church and state. As such, no governmental body at any level may favor or disallow one religion's rights, over another's to the extent that no one is in physical danger. This includes Islam. You may protest all you wish. That is legal. But to try and take legal action AGAINST the building of the "mosque" simply put, is not.

You making judgment as to what is constitutional thus suggesting the opposition has to show restraint because there aims are unconstitutional. You can't know that. To know that YOU would have to be a judge and jury in the court that hears this particular case to make that decision.

For any US gov't body to prohibit the actions of an individual/group based on the religion involved is blatantly unconstitutional. Yes, the opposition DOES have to show some restraint....mainly, they cannot take legal action against the owners of the "mosque" due to religious pretenses.
Listen, before you argue with me, how's about you do your research on what is deemed constitutional, instead of arguing out your ass.

Well, it is sad. Americans should be against it. I am not against Muslims, but think about this. How many Christian churches there in Islamic world? I don't really know about any, and if there is they are definitely not in some sort of sensitive place for Muslims.
Fascism and Communism aren't bad theories.But there are people who is using it in a radical way of expression.That's why it is forbidden in US.Same thing should be with Islam. If there is a way for radicalism, it should not be allowed.

We are the United States of America. One of the reasons we are better than so many other shit bag countries is our freedom of religious expression. You miss the point which is that If Christians had done this crime, it would be just as insensitive and insulting to families of > 200 (non-consenting) muslims who were murdered there if a church was built at that site. This isn't bigotry or hatred. You'd get exactly the same response if Christians flew planes into the Abraj Atta'Awuneya Twin Towers in Ar Riyadh or the black stone at Al Ka'ba & then decided to build a 13 storey Christian 'cultural centre' a few feet away.
