  • The charges do look like a mess.

  • british army were pussies, pfff

  • @boss180888 Yeah, they only carved out the LARGEST EMPIRE IN HUMAN HISTORY. Fucking idiot.

  • @ThePalaeontologist easy when u have better fire-arms you moron, what european country have they ever invaded with success?

  • @boss180888 hmm, france.... spain.... portugal...belgium....germany....read a book on english history bud

  • @2ndpadrummer i have, and more than you for the looks of it, england never in history invaded portugal or belgium, so you just lied there for a change, you must have a degree in history at oxford. when has england ever invaded france with success? i hate to break it to you but you lost the 100 years no mtter what shakespear writes!! germany? along with the soviets and the usa, i meant ALONE!!!

  • DEATH UNTO THE BRITISH ARMY!

  • if i wason the reciving end of theat charge i would piss myself

  • americans..... : /

  • Furious Red Line

  • only charge i have done of late is my car battery!

  • As for the poor lonely highlander in ther middle. If my experience of the British army is anything to go by he would probably have been tied to a tree with two melons up his tunic and shagged to death.

  • A Bayonet Charge is like the rolling thunder bombing run of the 18th century

  • Argires, Germans, Japs, Taliban...they have all had a taste of the metal....

  • LOL shoot your faverate tourist

  • @legoking58 we didnt even need to shoot em hahaha

  • If I was about to be a victim of a bayonet charge, I would just put the musket to my chin and blow away. Much better than dying from one of those fuckers.

  • @Germanboy567 yeaaa unless i had one of my own id definatly be either craping myself or runing, and i think being an amputee would be better then getting stabbed by an 16 inch bayonet

  • @2ndpadrummer

Yeah, that would hurt really bad if you were stabbed by one of those. you would more than likely get your stomach stabbed and gouged.

  • @Germanboy567 yea if you were stabbed in the gut your gonna die slow and noticing how the blades triangular shaped u cant fix the wound yeaaaaaaaaa id waaay rather die from a cannon ball then go through the pain of a bayonet

  • @2ndpadrummer

Surrender is always an option. If they hit you in the chest, you'll die a bit more quickly.

  • Give the Americans a break. They did well for farmers and tradesmen. :-)

  • Hahaha. All this needs is a Dodge Charger.

  • i would be laghing so much if during the revolutionary war during a british bayonet charge a patriot got a modern gun and yelled M60 BITCHEZ and mowed them all down

  • @halobrick that would be funny as hell hahaha

  • lol, TWO RHR guys XD

  • to this day, even a tank is not as scary as a REAL bayonet charge.

  • @silentiron couldnt agree more =)

  • @silentiron Truer words are rarely spoken. You can stop a tank. A bayonet chargeis a LOT harder to control and stop. Thumbs up mate. :-)

  • @silentiron The British army still use bayonet charges in modern warfare today, In 2005 the Scot-Guard used one with success

  • @silentiron So you're saying if you saw a King Tiger coming at you full speed you wouldn't be scared?

  • @killerclown789 well i kill the tiger i wont have to worry about a good 100 more coming at me

  • @2ndpadrummer It took five T-34's to take on a Tiger. The only other way of taking out a Tiger is by using a land mine or an anti tank piece of artillery.

  • @killerclown789 well lets see if your talking 1700's yes id be shitting my pants, but in the world of today all i gotta do is use any anti tank weapon, air strike it, or call in artillery. ww2 yea id be scared but all id have to do is wait for it todrive by as i hide in a fox hole and then climb up on its back and lob a grenade down its hole and blow up all of the ss basterds inside

  • @2ndpadrummer The SS men would of had infantry go ahead to clear out the fox holes. Tank commanders weren't stupid.

  • @killerclown789 they wouldnt be able to clear out the holes if you got american g.i.'s with a range of arms laying down supressing fire buddy, germans wernt suicidal,

  • @2ndpadrummer The German Flak 88s would have destroyed the area, planes would have bombed and then the tanks and infantry would have rolled in. Look at the start of the war, when Germany wasn't outnumbered that much.

We all know Germany was superior anyways.

  • @killerclown789 yea when the u.s. wasnt fighting germany? u.s. bombers tore german industry a new one, the german luftwaffe wasn't ever able to defeat american or brit airforces,so planes wouldnt have made a big issue, the german armies on the eastern front were preatty much beaten to a pulp with a combonation of the russian winter and soldiers that seemed to come up from no where. american infantry was just as well trained, disciplined, and supplied as the fuhrers armies were.

  • @2ndpadrummer I've seen documentaries of US soldiers saying how tough the Germans were, and they admitted they wouldn't have stood a chance if Germany wasn't as out numbered as they were in the war.

Germany had such a small amount of troops against the massive allied armies and they fought bitterly, the allies still found it difficult to defeat the Germans, which is remarkable.

The Russians got absolutely raped by the Germans in terms of kill/death ratio -Proof that Germany was superior.

  • @killerclown789 true then again the russian commanders sent waves of men to there deaths for little more then a few miles of german territory. but you cant say that germans were always the better troops cause usually the times when small amounts of germans were fighting americans they usually were on the defence with a good idea of the land. or they were in a war shatterd city which is a natural fighting ground. they hadsome of the best soldiers definatly.

  • @silentiron A 62 Tonne, unstoppable, armoured vehicle not as scary as a bayonet charge. RIiight.

  • @silentiron No i can rip bayonets apart with my machine gun i can't beat the tank

  • @silentiron and people say this time period style was stupid. No war ever took so much balls. They don't run, they walk, see that dude infront? He is so bad ass he is drumming, in a battle, right at the front. Did he bring a weapon? Hell fucking no. He's there to drum and that what he'll godamn do. Why would they were red though? Their so noticeable. They want to be seen, they say "Come at me!". And when they get close, they look them right in the fucking eye and blow their eyes out

    Bad as fuck.

  • @SupaTROopa2 A FUCKIN MEN DUDE!

  • @SupaTROopa2 They also wear red to confuse the enemy as to troop numbers, so in fact it's camoflage. (Red is the hardest colour to ocunt at distance)

  • @Someloke8895 but back then uniform was more important.

  • OMG for once i see Scots in here thats so cool!

  • That would scare the crap outta me if I was standing in front of that.

  • now imagine them not stopping

  • thats the point, the bayonet is not really for fighting, its for breaking the enemy. The gun fights the battle, the bayonet wins it.

  • its still an effective weapon besides if u stab an enemy with a long triangular shaped blade its gonna get stuck so u still have to put a foot on him to take it out. in a way its a phsycological weapon and its very effective!

  • @2ndpadrummer Where did you get that misinformation from?

  • @LutzDerLurch its a joke...

  • @2ndpadrummer Oh, sorry. My bad then. :)

  • yeah me too lol, its in our blood, also the most recent bayonet charge was apparently in 2003 in afghanistan by British troops :-)

  • SAME its just one of the things we do best.

  • Overall, thirty people in Bermuda shorts and Hawaiian shirts wet themselves after the sudden charge from American and British forces.

  • sir what r the casualties? 30 cases of pissed pants, 40 counts of indecent thumb sucking and 10 accounts of beging for their mommies

  • As late as 1982 the British bayoneted Argentine soldiers at Wireless ridge in the Falklands conflict. Surviving and surrendering Argies said it was terrifying!

  • yup, it doesnt matter if its the 18th century, or the 21st, a british bayonet charge always will scare the crap out of anyone whos on the recieving end

  • @2ndpadrummer Imagine a screaming fellow with mud on his face attacking you with a knife on his rifle

  • its called a bayonet which is very different to a bayonett but yeaaa its fun to think about hahahahahaha

  • Yeh, I'm british and I have this urge to bayonet someone.

  • @hoplite1766

We have used it after 1982 mate. Google 'British Bayonet assault in Basra' or check out the full story to this:-
