I'm shocked to see so many ppl use rental teams for the old stadium games, since the Pokemon tend to have weaker stats & moves. When I played, I always used pokemon I raised myself in-game. I just couldnt deal with an Electabuzz, for example, having Thunderpunch instead of Thunderbolt & swift & light screen instead of fire punch & ice punch.

@DontRepYourCity But can't you bring pokemon from the gameboy games? Isn't that more fun? Besides, rentals are... kind of uber right? I mean you can choose anyone (except Mew and Mewtwo i think) like a awesome Dragonite, or Gengar, even the legendary bird trio! I've never played this but when I do, I'm not using rentals, thats just cheap.

@000MrM That's what I was talking about. I was surprised how many people use the rental pokemon instead of raising their own from the Game Boy games on these LPs I've seen, since they have lower stats & crappy moves. The rental pokemon are so inferior IMO that there's no being cheap with them.

Those aren't "Stadium" games. They are 3D pokemon battles sure, but stadium had completely different gameplay.
