This game is Driver going back to the roots of the series. Driv3r was pretty bad. They wanted to make it a GTA copy, but that's not what the game is. In Driver 1 and 2 there were no guns. If you want GTA, buy GTA. Saying the game game needs this shit is like disliking football, cause they don't play with hockey sticks.

They... they killed Tanner... (in a sence) i like the whole 'layed back cop' style but not for driver, driv3r's cutscenes were the best ive ever seen and the story was epic too, this is trully a good game, i just wish it was a little like driv3r(not the gameplay, the story and cutscenes) :(

I dunno they kinda took the series in an interesting and unique direction. To the best of my knowledge no other game has tried this "shifting" idea and I do think its really highlighted the series again, rather than it just being anouther GTA clone. It feels special again.

Plus the story was quite good. I don't think the whole "Its a dream" system was a terrible idea either because it was relevent and it did help him catch Jehrico.

Don't think they could do it again though ...

I really like this game because the city is very big and I like the shift ability because as you progress you can shift higher after you beat a certain chapter.Does anyone realize in some of the missions turn the screen a different color? Last thing before i go is I beat the story mode five times and I bought all one hundred and forty cars in the garage.
