@totalewaanzin Considering that Jade has put out like 9 albums, all full of original compositions, I'd say she's plenty good at creating her own material. The reason she covered this song was because it was Sweetbox's first big hit, and seeing as she was the frontwoman of Sweetbox for most of it's history, it only made sense for her to do a cover version to celebrate the group's 10 year anniversary.

This is the new version of the song, the original version was released and 1997 an Jade wasn't the vocalist then. When Sweetbox released a Gratest Hits album, remade this version with different lyrics and of course Jade's amazing voice.
