i had these in my local YO! sushi resturant but they had a yellow custard like filling what is that? or is it just custard? thanks! and the pancakes look awesome im trying some out!
I'm just wondering, do the beans taste good with the pancakes because I've never really had the two together before. Forgive me if I sound rude or sarcastic, I'm really not trying to sound that way, I'm just new to Asian food.
@HusseinK1988 Thats what I was wondering too! I had this at the Japanese tea garden in California, and I was wondering if I could just use pancake mix!
Hi , thank you for sharing this super tutorial Im doing a small catering of Japanese food at school, I wonder how many dorayaki can I do with this receipe?
@hottle1 I see why you may think I am passing this recipes as my own (edited the description box) I am a big fan of CWD & I do see the similarity, but also keep in mind that this is a popular Japanese dessert & people usually the same basic recipe & ingredients, but change the amount & use different fillings. I hope this will clear things up coz my only intention is to share recipes. BTW this recipe was inspired by a cooking site w/c i cited. Thx for bringing this up ^^
@iamredapple1993 That will be challenging :P but i imagine if you use a wide enough saucepan, you can probably do it. make sure to cook the pancakes one at a time and keep the size small. Let me know if this works ^^

HevnBoyz 2 months ago
@HevnBoyz soak a paper towel lightly LIGHTLY with oil and basically wipe the pan with the paper towel to have an even layer of oil
masterpolik 1 month ago
@HevnBoyz and also make sure that you cant actually see the oil
masterpolik 1 month ago
@HevnBoyz that should only happen with one side so just put the filling on the ugly side
