I have played pretty much the whole game as an assassin/stealthy guy and most of this stuff I had already figured out but it was still a cool video and interesting to see how others do it.

I play as breton and I use Illusion and sneak, works really great for assassinations. I use invisibility, dagger for killing, pacify to make them stand there, and if anyone notice me -> shadow warrior -> dead. To play as an assassin is such fun, being tactical and doing things clean =)

Pick off the lookouts and ones higher up first as they will be able to see the others. Then the ones in the camp won't know you're there and you can take them out easily

I really enjoyed this video. The assassin is how I play as well. The biggest problem I've run into is being so good with the bow that light armor never gets raised, until it's too late and I get mobbed.

I just go in and kill everyone in sight, no panzy sneaking, in and out and dirty like it should be. Run in into a mages blast, shield raised sword ready. This does look like fun though!

Seph is not a normal assassin. He is "THE" Assassin. He uses these moves because it's fun and he enjoys it and as a Fanboy I also love them. He don't care about the stats on his equipments, he uses the Nightingale set simply for the style. He is the best assassin ever! @Xooo 100% sneak is not a true assasin. This guy is a true assasin. He uses tactics like ive never seen before on skyrim. If you ask me, 100% sneaking isnt skill at all. 100% sneaking is entirely too boring and just no fun. I dont want to walk clearly in front of someone and them not notice me at all. This assasin type looks extremely more fun and enjoyable.

assassin is much easier if you use illusion spells. like where only the target can die. pacify everything. then walk in, slice the targets throat, take whatever you feel like. Then walk out.

or go invisibla and cast muffle before it. walk in, find a nice spat where only the target would be able to see you, slice the targets throat and cast invisible

How about get more then 100% in stealth effectiveness (+ full sneak build you can obtain it in the first dungeon while running away from teh dragon ye know). Add some items later like Linwe's boots +15% sneak, shrouded hood (mage type +25% sneak) - see? You already have 100% stealth (60% from base in Sneak tree). Then get shrouded gloves (x30 backstab is a must - cause bow do NOT kills everything in one shot on master difficulty dont be naive). And... USE "detect life" for a sec to look pro.

I was a level 30 redguard warrior with 17 hours into the character..after watching this i abandoned that campaign and Skywalker was born..my kajiit assassin..an im enjoying the game even more playing this style...dont get me wrong im big on warrior class love the brute force...but there is something so fulfilling in snuffing out the light of a foe with an arrow to the head an quickly introducing his companions throat to the cold steel of your blade before fading back into the nothingness.

I play in a similar way, but I desided to ditch the bow when I found that to be to simple, and go for up close and personal wich gives a good chill when you manage it. (also master) The only negative side with this playstyle is when you have to bring a companion and you cant make him stay, because they can't sneak for shit. I usually try to paralyze them and run in and kill them all before he wakes, it gets anoying

You should try the last perk in sneak. You can basicly take all the enemy head on just by spamming sneak and one shot everyone, and it looks amazing because you become a black smoke and if you get a killmove you just suddenly teleport behind them.

Makes it a little bit to easy tho... and the last kill was awesome ^^

Guys, how can i bind weapons, so i could press, for example, buttons 1 and 2 and char would take weapons at both hands? When i try to to something like this, the weapons is just switching my right hand.

@MrVigilum well i found that at least in my version if you have double daggers equiped, and press say... 3 to equip the bow WITHOUT unequiping the daggers first, when you tap 3 again, the bow goes away, and the daggers are back again.

Other than that, i was unable to bind both daggers to 1 hotkey.

Anyway, hope that helps a bit.

Great video! TBH I don't know why people like skyrim so much. It's not a bad game but it's full of bugs (you never know when your game will just hang), you spend 50% of your time waiting at loading screens just to enter a simple house (God damn it! a simple house!) and the mechanics is horrible. Who hasn't got stuck trying to walk over a slightly raised stone in the woods? If you're a mage then casting pretty much prevents you from seeing anything in front of you. Of course there's plenty more.
