After being trapped in the Realm of Darkness for 11 years (counting the year that has elapsed since KHI), how many Heartless do you think are dead by this badass's hand?
So you spend the game fighting countless unversed, and when you fight heartless that we've known for nearly a decade, they're taking off half your healthbar per hit? Kinda makes Sora look really badass now.
Well, these Heartless are living in the Realm of Darkness itself, we can simply think that they're more... pure than the ones emerged in the Realm of Light. :P
Fighting an enemy in its own home makes things harder.
@GhoullyXX The player is relatively low leveled considering this is the final world. Plus the game is on critical mode (which doubles damage received and halves damage dealt to enemies) and the player's max hp is about half of what it would be in a complete file.
@DecadentCupcake123 It's because the international versions of the KH games get more than the original Japanese games, so Square Enix releases a Final Mix version in Japan that is essentially the international version with extra goodies thrown in :)

Aqua is one of the greatest characters in the KH universe so far in my opinion. Shouldering such a burden. And its crazy to see the heartless actually attack so viciously compared to KH1 and 2. Then again they are fighting in their territory now and most likely haven't had a fresh heart in a while.
Neoshadows are by far my favorite heartless, they're like regular shadows but more powerful (and they're naturally-occurring heartless too).
I feel sorry for Aqua, having to fight so much, and if you consider the fact that through most of the Kingdom Hearts games she's in the Realm of Darkness still... she must make great babies. XD
In the end she couldn't protect the persons she wanted to. Ventus loses his Herat and all she can do is hide his body in a safe place. then she goes to rescue Terra but couldn't completely rescue him and was only able to prevent him from falling in the darkness by sacrificing herself and ending up walking 11 years in the realm of darkness while knowing that she can't fulfill the promise she gave ventus' body
@14evilprince i know i just meant that she has the sadest burden to bear i mean imagine you would be 11 years in the darkness thinking of your friends you want to protect and be unable to do that.
It's one point why Aqua is my favorite character besides Ventus/Roxas.
@RydazRuff But how often did you actually see her fight heartless? Compare that to how often Sora fights them, and Nobodies, and the Organization. And compare what Sora accomplished to what Aqua accomplished (She accomplished nothing)
As far as the main keyblade weilders of the series are concerned, she is probably the least deserving of the title of master. Seeing as she failed to save any of her friends, and failed in her duties to protect the light, and the worlds.
watching this second time here.............I didn't realize this when I was watching this the first time..............but I was thinking why Aqua looks the same when she's talking to Ansem about events after KH2 and why she's fighting heartless over there...............and I think I found the answer! She time traveled! It all makes sense if you think that way!
Thanks pacey8444 for this I personally that all the characters of BBS got screwed and they didn't deserve what happen to them it's like this all happened in one day. And in a blink of an eye Venitus is in a coma Terra was taken by Mr. Xeronort (tried to spell it) and aqua got sent to the dark side of all worlds as I like to call it for not days but YEARS with little hope of getting out. Now I can only pray that Sora comes quick to help them.
As much as I love extra content in a KH game, I wish that the developers took the time to translate the text and to get all the voice actors to help out with the cutscenes. That's my only problem. Otherwise, wonderful extra story going on here.

because its final mix. all FM versions of kingdom hearts have english audio with japaneses subs. well, except for the parts that werent in the english release.

Maby it didnt goe as he planed but it took him the direction he wnated since know he could controll the heartless and his two halfs both came close to acheiving the conqer all worlds goel.
I remember reading somewere that the reason he kept his inteligence after becoming a heartless is because he willingly let it happen.
@Organization2AMV In Kh1 she's still the Realm of Darkness. It isn't until KH2 where she actually encounters Ansem the Wise in the Realm of Darkness. She explains how she been wondering the countless hours and haven't been able to escape all this time. Ansem tells her of a boy named Sora and that he can save both of them. You can see this in the secret Ending.
@Ronldbx6 I know but think about it logically, if you're wandering around alone and you hear a COMMOTION, wouldn't you go to it? There are more people involved! She coulda been exploring with Sora this whole time! Hell she coulda helped Sora defeat Xehanort's heartless now that I think about it and where she was in the secret ending was where Sora wound up being. WHY DIDN'T THEY ENCOUNTER THERE?!! @MyTailFilms chronologically it goes BBS, KH1, Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days, KH2, Coded, DDD and then it will go straight onto KH3... Coded is what happens in the year between KH2 and DDD

Was it 12 years? Seems like it should be far fewer than that. After all, she met young sora when he was like 7 or 8, so she's been there for less than 12 years.
I'll admit, hearing that sora was four years old is REEEEAAAAALLY far fetched, so I looked into it. Sure enough, you are right- Sora is INDEED four years old during BBS. I still think that's bizarre- I've never heard a four year old speak like that, but then again, I don't really know that many four year olds.... o.O
So, BBS really does take place 10 years before the main story... Damn, surviving in a battlefield for over a decade- Aqua is one tough cookie.
in BBS. its in a flash back but they were rare in the normal world. according to ansems reports in KH1, the heartless really werent a problem until a little after xehanort became his apprentice. one failed experiment later and you get ansem seeker of darkness, xemnas, and an army of heartless that could threaten the worlds.
Amazing i wonder what the worlds name is and if any humans live in the relm of darkness i mean theres keyblade weilders from the relm of darkness and it does have worlds it not just like one huge relm

@cardsfam If you are talking about a magic heavy fighting style that is my preferred as well. Seriously I spend more than half my time in Kingdom Hearts II in MP charge, and that includes before I can use magic at all, I use it that much. Honestly I have Blizzard under the x button in my shortcut menu so I don't even have to think to use it.

@Scout997 well you´re wrong in something, the unverse come from vanitas that´s the evil part from ventus and they allways return to him, but hearless come from the darkness beneath our hearts and when a heartless is made by a strong heart a nobodi is created at the same time like for example in the first KH when Sora turned into a heartless he was just a shadow that´s the weakest heartless that exist so that means that the stronger the heart the weaker is the heartles but the nobodi is stronger.
@AQWredguy100 Right now it seems like they might. But even if this one doesn't, BbSV2, if it is a game, will most likely come out in the west. So we might get to play in the Realm of Darkness eventually.
@Cheaken2 i wish so. battling heartless on psp is awsome cuz i don't have a ps2 T.T. and bbsv2 might come out on a different console (most likely ngp). maybe they should also make different versions for different consoles. i mean, making the same game for several systems.
@AQWredguy100 You know, the last few games seem to be apologies in a way. We never got the Final Mix bosses so they release a game(BBS) that has a Lingering Sentiment(Vanitas this time, not Terra), and an Unknown. Then they give us Coded which finally allows us to fight Roxas. I think they're trying to make up for it in the later games of the series.

Maby it didnt goe as he planed but it took him the direction he wnated since know he could controll the heartless and his two halfs both came close to acheiving the conqer all worlds goel.
I remember reading somewere that the reason he kept his inteligence after becoming a heartless is because he willingly let it happen.

@Organization2AMV In Kh1 she's still the Realm of Darkness. It isn't until KH2 where she actually encounters Ansem the Wise in the Realm of Darkness. She explains how she been wondering the countless hours and haven't been able to escape all this time. Ansem tells her of a boy named Sora and that he can save both of them. You can see this in the secret Ending.

@Ronldbx6 I know but think about it logically, if you're wandering around alone and you hear a COMMOTION, wouldn't you go to it? There are more people involved! She coulda been exploring with Sora this whole time! Hell she coulda helped Sora defeat Xehanort's heartless now that I think about it and where she was in the secret ending was where Sora wound up being. WHY DIDN'T THEY ENCOUNTER THERE?!! So many plot holes!!!

@Organization2AMV Well, we aren't exactly sure where in the World of Darkness Kingdom Hearts opened up to, it couldn't been on the completely opposite side from where she was. Also, Aqua probably arrived after Sora and Riku left, she got there a little too late.

@MyTailFilms chronologically it goes BBS, KH1, Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days, KH2, Coded, DDD and then it will go straight onto KH3... Coded is what happens in the year between KH2 and DDD

She met Sora when he was 4 :) Birth By Sleep takes place right 10 years before KH1, and in KH1 Sora is 14.

I'll admit, hearing that sora was four years old is REEEEAAAAALLY far fetched, so I looked into it. Sure enough, you are right- Sora is INDEED four years old during BBS. I still think that's bizarre- I've never heard a four year old speak like that, but then again, I don't really know that many four year olds.... o.O
So, BBS really does take place 10 years before the main story... Damn, surviving in a battlefield for over a decade- Aqua is one tough cookie.

in BBS. its in a flash back but they were rare in the normal world. according to ansems reports in KH1, the heartless really werent a problem until a little after xehanort became his apprentice. one failed experiment later and you get ansem seeker of darkness, xemnas, and an army of heartless that could threaten the worlds.

@cardsfam If you are talking about a magic heavy fighting style that is my preferred as well. Seriously I spend more than half my time in Kingdom Hearts II in MP charge, and that includes before I can use magic at all, I use it that much. Honestly I have Blizzard under the x button in my shortcut menu so I don't even have to think to use it.

@Scout997 well you´re wrong in something, the unverse come from vanitas that´s the evil part from ventus and they allways return to him, but hearless come from the darkness beneath our hearts and when a heartless is made by a strong heart a nobodi is created at the same time like for example in the first KH when Sora turned into a heartless he was just a shadow that´s the weakest heartless that exist so that means that the stronger the heart the weaker is the heartles but the nobodi is stronger.

@AQWredguy100 You know, the last few games seem to be apologies in a way. We never got the Final Mix bosses so they release a game(BBS) that has a Lingering Sentiment(Vanitas this time, not Terra), and an Unknown. Then they give us Coded which finally allows us to fight Roxas. I think they're trying to make up for it in the later games of the series.
