Look at the crowd and you’ll see just what the crowd looked and sounded like when Jesus is being crucified and hung on the cross.

Glen is hands down the best death metal vocalist. People will argue with other vocalists like Chris Barnes, Chuck Schuldiner (no disrespect whatsoever), etc. but Glen IS death metal. Every record he gets better. Even the first album has a great sound with his vocals. Also, I met the band on the Once Upon the Cross tour and Glen & Steve were the most humble guys. Very appreciative of the support and happy to talk to fans. The Hoffmans, while not being outright dicks, DID have the "I'm a rockstar and I'm above you" attitude. Sorry guys, but if it weren't for dedicated fans like me who buy your music and go to your shows, you wouldn't be SHIT! Learn to show some respect for those who made you! Guess that's why you're not in Deicide anymore!

Personally I like the new Deicide (forgive me diehards) better. I've been into them since the very beginning, but after Once Upon The Cross came out, I totally lost interest. The Hoffman brothers just weren't bringing anything new or creative to the table anymore. This is a more structured and melodic sound, which to me is a breath of fresh air. 2-3 minutes of blurry guitars and blast beats gets OLD real quick.
