This is pretty much a Swift 2, I use a 1500kv with 7x5 apc, and they fly great! Cover up the electronics with ice cream container stuck on with fibreglass tape. (in full combat we never hit our electronics this way!)
Putting the aerial by ya servo leads makes good video. I know that hey brucey. I can damage batteries when they are protected..mmmm... I might get one and put some wheels on it
hey i have a guillow's fokker dr1 flying model kit it is from 1985 is it worth it to build it as a rc plane with a cox engine or shold i keep it in the box????
@xjet Very nice.. Anything that flies without pranging in a strong wind, like the one roughing up the Microphone, is a good model...! I was wondering about the Orientation, I like the tail being there to show me where it's pointing ! I have a Faceted Aerofoil, permanently-fixed, on my Subaru 4WD. A streamlined Solar Panel, to save fuel... Search 'SunFoil', and watch a few clips ; 'Short-Talk' & the 'Science', & 'Mk2 Construct.' are good !
i love the DA-42 :)

What happened to not being able to fly within 5 k's of an airport ??
frogtwat 4 months ago
@frogtwat Who made up that rule? We fly FROM the airfield with full official permission and approval.
xjet 4 months ago
@xjet ok ...under Australian MAAA rules, no remote control aircraft are permitted to fly within 5k of an airport ... WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL .
Having approval to fly there... you guys are so lucky ( wish i had an actual airstrip to fly from) so fair enough :) Love the reviews by the way .....

I couldn't find the wing on Hobby King.
Am I mistaken, or is the prop on backward??

@MormanHP It was, but we put it on the right way before we flew it.
