  • After Winona sang the song on Burt Bacharach tribute I can't listen to any other... That is simply the best (sorry Dionne)... rsrsrs

  • Who's the idiot that told her she could sing such a song as this? :S

  • @brentianbloom agree...

  • I like her but gosh! That was excruciatingly painful to listen to!!! Yikes.

  • is she 12 years old?

  • Doesn't do it for me.

  • Cilla's version is better. But then so is Dionne's and Dusty's etc. etc.

  • she sang Like stacie orrico does..

  • @chloe4lyfe Agree, this song is not for her, although love her other work.

  • I have always loved this Bacarach tune. Amy does a wonderful version of it here. A very powerful singer! And one cute babe, I must say (hubba hubba to the max, daddy-o!). THANK YOU so much for sharing this enchanting clip with us to enjoy! You've MADE my day & my week! :)

  • Jesus Christ. I was glad when the orchestra finished playing. Not because they weren't excellent because they were, but it meant she finally shut the hell up. Sixties singers sang without having to prove a point on their voice control and ruin a song like she has. Thats what makes sixties music my favourite era. Straight forward muscians who wasn't crap live then sound good by a device on a computer making them sound better.

  • wow her voice is amazing it made me shiver go amy

  • pedazo de orquesta!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this girl is lovely. beautiful rendition.

  • Still think it's hard to beat Cilla Black.

  • Sung with passion as it should be. I think she's put her own feel too it and done it justice. Different but on par with my personal fave Dusty Springfield

  • that was very bad her voice was very squeeky and high pitch, I love that Luther song and she juct messed it up (just my opinion)

  • yuck, I don't like her voice. It sounds like she's whining on the "anyone who had a heart" part...ugh....this didn't fit her.

  • i like the orchesta.

  • What is with today's female singers (actually male pop as well)? They can't just sing! They have to do all of these gasp of breaths, they have to scream, they overdo voice curls and are more like over-gospel, not true pop. Look at the singers before the 90s/80s, just straightforward natural singing where we hear their actual voice. Diana Ross is black but she never sang like Beyonce or Agorilla. Overdoing voice curls is not style but a BAD HABIT. And they lose time/tempo because of it! Awful.

  • I TOTALLY AGREE... i thought i was one of the very few who thought the same way..

  • Really good question. Maybe they get orgasms in the middle of their singing, or maybe theyre just passing gas, or maybe they have dildos shoved up their @ss, or maybe they are really belching beer fumes and camouflage it with gasps, grunts, squeals, screams and sighs. Who knows?! There is nothing like the REAL singers from the classic heyday of REAL music. These self-adulating "wailers" today are a dime a dozen and they all sound EXACTLY THE SAME... no originality... "Bring in the Clones!"

  • @lookscudkill Well I'll be damned!!!! DIANA ROSS IS BLACK?!!!!

  • don't know who she is but that was excellent ****

  • Actually I think she nails it! Great singing,

good intensity and feeling Well done !

  • Why is this person on a stage? Her lack of talent is embarrassing. Simply put, she can't sing, she's FLAT and what lilttle voice she has is very thin. This song is technically difficult and requires a singer with great range, power (chops!). Listen to Dionne or Cilla's renditions. Wynona does a great job as well. This is trash.

  • your such a twat listen to her other music and you will see why she is on the stage! if she wasnt good then she wouldnt of realised an album and made all the money she has today for selling them albums think twice before opening ur mouth

  • Anyone who ever had an ear would agree this performance stinks to high heaven.

Rubish, pure rubish!!! You Tube should ban this video.

Best version of this song is by Vonzell Solomon of American Idol, check it out!

  • Linda Ronstadt's version is GREAT!

  • she has a different type of voice but nonetheless i like this version.

  • Beautiful Burt Bacharach song. Amy does a great job. A little screechy (1:29) and chipmunky (1:53) at times, but for some reason it works. Unique. Overall a beautiful voice. Good stage presence. Puts a lot of feeling into it.

And what a beauty, too! Knockout.

  • cant believe i went out with this girl dammm how stupid to let you go amy...

  • beautiful,

    always makes me feel happier

    :)

  • doesnt work with the song x

  • I agree, I have heard many better versions. The best I have heard in this modern day version was done by Vonzelle Solomon from American Idol, I think it was season 4. Vonzelle was really good.

  • I agree! I have honestly heard better versions.

  • i don't really like the voice, but the song is great

  • WHAT A UNIQUE VOICE! MY GOD AMAZING!

  • She's so shrill! Take a leaf out of Shelby Lynne and Wynonna's books Amy!

  • Damn that was awful. Try Wynonna's version if you want to hear how it should be sung.

  • rubish

    sounds terrible

  • she's so pretty

  • It was o.k but nothing compared to Vonzell Soloman's version.Vonzell would've destroyed her.

  • Ma dai, molto meglio Dionne Warwick!!! Anche Luther Vandross le fa 10-0

  • i really hate her voice

    is so

    squealy

  • THANKYOU!!!

finally someone else who hears it!

  • the only part of this horribley rendition started at about 2:26 until the end...the band arrangement was terrible...

  • Uh - the worst version of this beautiful song that I know. Too bad...

  • Ohh, I didn't like that. her diction was terrible. She was putting too much power into her voice and thereby missing half the words.

  • hey is that at the princess theatre

  • This didn't fit her voice. This is for singers that have strong, big voices...Amy Pearson doesn't have it. It just sounds really weak..I don't even like the band arrangement that much

  • hmm not really... amy pearson does have a strong voice. you should hear her on Dont Miss you.. thats an excellent song
