Great tips! These are all the things I look for at when I see ppl on youtube. A big no no for me is when I see a whooe bunch of haul videos and collections videos and no tutorials. It shows me that they are just on youtube for the attention and to show off.

I once had someone write really really horrible things to me on one of my 2nd videos, but like you said theres nothing we can really do about them but keep living my life and doing what makes me happy. I recently started a channel and your tips are great! Having a good camera, bright lighting, and clear audio were priority 1, 2, and 3 for me. And yes, you really do need thick skin. But when you have your first few subscribers you know that there are viewers who enjoy your videos so much that they want more. Remembering this breaks down any negativity.

when i first started, i was NOT myself, it was really bad, and obviously my videos didnt work out. then i started again in july and im so fun in front of the camera and im myself, and my subscribers tell me all the time that they love how down to earth i am, that makes me feel so good. also i really planned out my channel before i started, and prepared myself for the hater comments, and i sure got them, but above all I LOVE MY CHANNEL.

1) Great topic Kesika. I don't make videos but applauds everyone who does because I know it's time consuming. After listening 2 some talk about having a quality camera, editing software N a reliable computer. But as a "viewer" this is what I like 2 see when watching/determining whether 2 subscribe 2 a channel. A great picture (clear N crisp). Jiggling videos is a turn off. That's where the tripod comes N2 play. The contents/topics is key 4 me, it's what will drive me 2 a channel.

Keep backgrounds as solid as possible, detailed patterns makes is hard 2C what UR trying 2 show. Item(s) that R being mention/used N the video if possible posted them N the description block. This will prevent one from rewinding the video 2 get the name of a products
