what kind of stencil paper is that... that looks like for tracing but how does that work? i got blue stencil film would that work?

Anything works, the point of it is to just keep the ink off the shirt (except for the logo). So if it does that it's perfect.

You can get plastic sheets made from 'acetate' and I'm reasonably sure they're used for screen printing. Perhaps just test it out first. They're not expensive.
