  • I think the opening should be lightning zapping something... Ant's, people, idk xD... Yup, completely off topic >.>...

  • that pretty much sums them up. they want attention and to force society to legitimize this and entrust children to these folks.

  • (cont.) and despised them well before gay men were stereotyped as being very flamouyant. Feminine guys that do fit some of the stereotypes are often made to feel bad about it (especially from other gay men). The media has come along way with gay characters on tv though. People often think of Jack as the gay stereotype from Will & Grace, but that show had several characters that were everyday guys that dated Will. I could go on and on, but I'll shut up now.

  • These videos are really interesting. You're very articulate and comfortable in front of the camera. Anyway, in regards to feminine and flambouyant gay men in the media and the real world, I think they are often discriminated against in their own community. Many masculine or "normal" gay men seem to blame (at least subconsciouly) feminine guys for the negative connotation many people have with gay men. It's important to acknowledge that many people felt that homosexuals were bad people

  • i love this

  • These episodes are wonderful. I hope you keep making them for a long time to come.

  • dude, you are my hero!!

  • One way society continues to spread homophobia is by associating the word GAY with everything NEGATIVE there is. So you may think by say "that's so gay" means nothing, but infact, you are helping to spread the message of hate against gay people.

So that when people encounter other people who happens to be gay, their brains automatically thinks GAY = BAD then GAY PEOPLE = BAD... to justify the hate crimes and discrimination.

  • you're a hottie! you single?

  • one of my straight guy friends doesn't like gay gays cause he thinks that the vast majority of them are queer-eye like and "basically girls". i'm thinking of showing him this video to help him understand gay people more and to see most are practically like him. should i show him this one or the 1st one that defines being gay?

  • I am gay and i am just like every other dude, i just check some hot guy passing by than a hot chick. Being gay is small part of my life.

  • Absolutly brilliant! Thanks man!

  • Excellent video...

I believe you hit the nail on the head.

  • I truly enjoy your videos especially the few pertaining to homosexuality and issues related. I show them to people that I have known to stereotype or group together men and women who are openly or obviously gay. I find it to be a good non-insulting way to help educate people about something they don't fully understand in hopes that the next time they find themselves in situations where such a topic may arise, the element of discomfort may be negated. I can't wait to see your next installment.

  • Your videos are so great. Thanks for doing this.

  • You're an inspiration, man! =D

  • that's pretty cool

  • i support you 100% in what you are doing.

  • You rated your own video? Lamer :-p

Um, well, ...Hmm...perhaps this would go better as a vid response. LOVE YOU

  • Hey, pal...I liked the video SOOOoo much, that I rated it. It looks like everyone else agrees with what I gave it. I can't help it if I enjoy the videos I make. haha.

  • Why the EFF was I "Thumbs Down"ed?

Don't you hate it when your supporters don't know that you're friends with other people on the internet? Can I get a WTF? Don't thumbs down my shit >:-O

  • Nick, you're so emotional! Don't worry... I thumbsupped ya.

  • I agree. One day I will have the capablitys to join you and your revoloution. For now funds and time are getting put in other projects BUT I can really feel the pull to come together and make a difference here on youtube so.....it will happen....all in due time. All in due time.

very funny. 5 stars. Cant wait for the next one. :D:D:D

  • I agree, Matthew..some of it is perhaps unconscious, but damaging nonetheless. There's a parallel in the depiction of Blacks in movies in the 30's..jocular buffoons, lacking intelligence, easily scared and intimidated, superstitious, but fiercely loyal to the "masta"..seems incredible now, but that was the way it was portrayed! About the only exception was the maid who had a practical intelligence and common sense that "masta" didn't have.

  • Another great video! You and I were thinking along the same line. I put together a video on the same topic (sitcoms, specifically) last night.

You're exactly right - the best way to change perceptions about gay people is by showing the other side of things via YouTube.

  • This is a ridiculously great video, Matthew.

Entertaining and thought provoking. The perfect mix. :) Keep it up!

  • Dan-iel! haha thank you for rubbing my 'cada beijo' matt. :P very good vid and response btw. but i aint surprised ;) i think this is by far your funniest one!

  • awesome posting

  • And the media always trots out the same old protagonists . In Australia, it's Reverend Fred Nile. Laughably, I don't think they can actually find anybody else that holds the same views as him.
