  • Damn a windshield makes alot of difference, I know what im getting next lol

  • Huh I ride in the rain all the time here in Florida is this something bad? lols I just deal with it XD aint so bad once you get over the feeling of needles in your eyes.

  • Have a 2004 rebel 250 and it is screaming at 60, 65 down hill, any ideas?

  • @orion2019 because it's scared?

  • Shit mine only pushes my fat ass to 78 mph

  • how my honda rebel only 85 mph

  • 1985 Ad: INTRODUCING THE HONDA REBEL. YOUR TICKET TO RIDE. If you think a real motorcycle has to be real expensive, check out the Rebel. it's easy to ride, practically maintenance-free, and has features found on bigger motorcycles. For about half the price. The Rebel has a smooth, reliable twin-cylinder engine that starts at the push of a button, and accelerates from 0 to 50 mph in 5.85 seconds.

  • @robfergusonjr

    A "real motorycle"

    lmao!

  • 87 MPH?

  • @MrCOHfan

Thats about 75mph or so. About average for 250cc motorcycle

  • nice

  • owwwwwww!!! born to be wild

  • if you get a bigger size sprocket on the front or a smaller size on the back you can get more speed but less take off power

  • did it hit 90? dude, that mic sound Chrystal clear

  • wow..who do you have insurance so cheap with? Must be that us in california just pay more!

:( :( I think it's time to move. haha. later thanks. And in reply to giandalle comment. I am 6'2" and ride a friends rebel when I can. I have to sit slightly back on the seat, or passenger seat, to get my legs to fit nicely. seating on it the right way feel like a go cart, and on tight turns the handle bar hits my knees. other then that..it's a fun ride!

  • Progressive.

The only reason i know is cause he said it in another video lol

  • your a crazy mother fucker driving in the rain like that.you must have titanium balls dude.

  • Thanks for the laugh, that was indeed a very funny comment. :)

  • I was thinking about getting a rebel but I am about 6'3. I hear they dont have a lot of room. Will I fit?

  • Comment removed

  • NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i got my honda rebel to about 90 mph down hill.

  • True, but in most states you can get your motorcycle endorsement on your license after the MSF is passed. Learning to ride and getting to ride will motivate you to find a way to have a bike... or it will let you know that you don't want to pursue it any further. Insurance is not much for a Rebel 250. On the other hand my sport bike steals $135/mo in insurance.

  • how about a kawasaki 454 ltd? What do you think insurance will be on that?

  • Yes, my insurance is $190/yr and that is $15.83 a month. I have a few speeding tickets under my belt so it may be lower if you have a better driving record. Yes, CC displacement does matter when getting insurance. It's one of those things that the insurance companies focus upon. IE, a 250cc bike is going to be less than a 500cc one. Likewise, a cruiser will most likely be less than a sport bike.

  • i pay $1,000 for one yr for two bike buell xb9r and a honda rebel

  • hey, I'm 19 in April 13th, I want to get a rebel, what's my insurance be like? I'm guessing around $1000. Do u know any cheap motorcycle insurance companies?

  • Iwould try gieco if you have a clean driving record. I use to have a clean record and gieco started to rip me offf so I switched to allstate. Another cheap insurance company for young drivers is erie auto insurance. If you have a horrible driving record like me and have relitives out of state I might suggest switching residecy. I had 1 point left on my Sc Dlicense and I went to my dads place in PA and none of my tickets tranfer over aslong as there is no dui involvedmy rate are 1200$less in PA

  • dude just liability for me almost $200 a MONTH, and i have a rebel..wtf lol

  • Im impressed! a 250 honda rebel...who knew. Whats it like at that speed on that particular cruiser?

  • It actually does rather nice. About six years ago I have a 750 Kawasaki Vulcan that I went 100+ on without even thinking about it. Sold it, but here I am on another bike. It handles exceptionally well. Hard gusts of wind do blow me around every so often. I've gotten used to a slight lean when passing semi's so I avoid my lane-positioning shifting slightly. Just litle minor adjustments but the Rebel is a very nice bike.

  • It seems like the rebel is a great beginner bike, but I have my eyes set on a shadow spirit 750. Being you owned a 750 can you help me make a smart decision?

  • Shadows are good bikes. They aren't bad to start on either. Low seat height, good center of gravity. You'd be fine going either way. Have you taken the MSF course?

  • Nope. Im not too sure when ill take that either.

  • Before you buy or ride a bike, that's when. Don't kill yourself with a stupid mistake. Rebel 250 is a super bike. I'd recommend it to anyone. Many many miles on mine. More than a parking lot full of harleys. :)

  • Yeah I totally agree with you. Im just afraid that ill take the msf course and then have a long period of not riding. Doesnt look like Ill have a bike any time soon. So should i bother, or hold off on it?

Another thing im worried about is insurance. I know skel3tor1 only pays like $15 a month. Im not too sure that will be my case. I guess depends on the size of the bike.

  • You can take the course. You'll find out if you do enjoy motorcycling AND you'll have the endorsement on your license. You'll find there is usually a waiting period when you go to sign up for an MSF course. Especially now that it's spring and the weather is GREAT. Once you get done with the MSF you'll be qualified to practice in a parking lot. *smirk* You'll still need to ride and practice to improve your skills.

  • 87 is your max speed? That high end 3rd gear for me.

  • Yup, 87-90. I'm on a 250cc Honda Rebel (cruiser type) bike.

  • 17 HP @ ~8,000 RPM, 300 lbs dry. It's all about using the powerband... :)
