That means we have to pay 3-6% to get the contribution. For the math impared, if my employer matches 3%, and I contribute 3% of my pay, I'm paying for 50% of my retirement. (assuming the market performs)

@Nomoremrniceguy100 Walker isn't taking away any of your pension, he's making you pay 5.8% of the contributions going forward. For reference, most private sector employees only get a 3-6% MATCH. That means we have to pay 3-6% to get the contribution. For the math impared, if my employer matches 3%, and I contribute 3% of my pay, I'm paying for 50% of my retirement. (assuming the market performs)

They're passing a law there can be NO environmental laws or regulations at all on businesses, and no liability for damage, which is not funny since they run pipelines across and around WI, and will be immune from having to clean up or compensate people they harm.

Disgusting embarrasment to WI again. Anti-Walker protesters, donning masks, props and signs, drowned out most of the presentation by state tourism and local officials with chants of “If you have a spine, resign!” and other sayings some found offensive. Meanwhile, local dignitaries carried out planned speeches and a ribbon cutting. Some were disappointed in the protesters and called it “embarrassing for Beloit,”

Hell my Friends in Wisconsin, When You protest and need to make noise, Do as we use to do at Hockey Games in San Antonio Texas. Use Cowbells They will drive people to to point of wanting to fight. They are loud!
Here is my suggestion ! The leaders of the recall effort or the Dem's. should spend some of the donated money and buy some cowbells to hand out, A hundred of them in places like the visitor center and no one will be heard.
