  • I love Susan Boyle and am so happy for her. She deserves all of her success and happines. She is so talented.

  • Isnt this Javert the foreman from the 25th anniversary concert?

  • :) it's great to see people realize their dreams.

  • Omg Jean Valjean is so elegant.....

  • sound sucks!

  • ok javert is a bit freaky but enjolras is cute!

  • luv the new make over!!!!!!!!!!!!! she looking must better then be for luv it

  • Sorry the sound is stil poor!

  • Enjoyed this, but sound was very low.

  • I loved Les Mis very much before I heard Susan Boyle. Some people complain that she is getting too much attention. Boy, though, can she sing. There are few people who can move me by singing I Dreamed a Dream. Ruthie Henshall is one, and Susan Boyle just moved me to teary-ness!!!

Oh, and London cast of 2009... I love you guys! I miss seeing the show.

  • it was very charitable of susan to get her sister a part in Les Mis

  • speakers all the way up i have a subwolfer also very soft and quiet.but nice. parthree 123

  • your just jealous cause you have no talent

  • we love her because she is the underdog. God Bless.

  • Please Susan, stop singing ! You suck compares to Ruthie Henshall or Lea Salonga !

  • the only reason everyone thinks she's amazing is because of her looks.. if she was a 20 year old girl there would have been much les of a fuss over her voice. ok she can sing... but ive heard alot better and she is SOOOOO over rated...

  • ok lets break this down. susan boyle is alright but not as fantastic as everyone makes her out to be. the only reason she got all this rage was because she was on a screen which makes it convenient. there are stage actresses that trump her version of i dreamed a dream any day. patti lupone, randy graff, ruthie henshall, lea salonga. all beautiful and filled with emotion. ms. boyle just sang it. there was no emotion in her rendition

  • Everyone has a talent, and we shouldn't belittle Ms. Boyles of hers.

  • ts the lovely down to earth Martin Ball as Thenadier at 1:20 and then again 6:16 with Loraine Bruce. He is a fab actor and so lovely and down to earth. Loved him as Mr Banks in Mary Poppins and also as Andrew Bear in BBCS Keeping Mum. He is a lovely actor God bless him. Lucky lucky him getting to meet and stand next to Susan Boyle. Wow

  • I believe the girl who played the part in my highschool play was honestly better than this.

  • Someone is typing in the background haha..its kinda annoying lol

  • apart from she didnt actually sing with the cast of les mis... so they did kill her dream...

  • I don't understand why they gave her all this attention...

    she's just another person.

That kid who had a falsetto voice and got bullied for singing like that - they could have given him his own voice.

  • How dare you speed up Les Miserables' One Day More so she can sing? That was in double time.

  • I had a lot of trouble with the sound also.

  • Ah, when they said the last "One day more" I felt proud, for no reason.

  • yes the sound is not clear hope to hear it clearly. thanks

  • I have no sound problem - it was terrific - the sound came through perfectly.

  • Reading some of the comments, yes the voice isn't as perfect as someone who has studied music, but she can captivate an audience.

  • @link0587 Why are these people so judgemental? Get a Life

  • @daiseygirl100 was that a stab at me? I like Susan's voice

  • @daiseygirl100 [m sorry that you took offense. I love Susan Boyle's music, and im sorry if you don't feel the same

  • The sound is still poor, unfortunately...

  • Trying to fit 'One Day More' into two minutes was the worst thing ITV has ever done :|

  • @melinaemilymay No, Alistair Brammer (Marius) is the worst thing in the world!

  • @melinaemilymay yeah, sounded a bit rushed :(

  • sound ? wat sound ? lol i can barely hear it

  • the sound is not clear

  • Poor sound quality on this video :(

  • this women deserves a medal for wht people said about her and now shes absaloutly stunning

  • I don't get it...Her voice isn't that great. She is pitchy and runs out of breath during phrases. The only reason she is famous is because she isn't attractive and surprised everyone. It bothers me for people who study music and are more talented who can't make it, but Susan Boyle can.

  • i completely agree, although it is good that she has made it and i dont wish her personally any ill but there are sooo much better people out there!

  • @leadoff123 Thankyou, someone has sense. She completely took the meaning away from the song also, its supposed to be a specific memory of Fantine's ex lover, not just about dreams in general. She sang the song, but not in the correct character, which the public doesn't seem to get.

  • @leadoff123 , Now, now. Don't hate just because you're envious. She actually has talent, and she gets to live her dream. It's like a fairy tale, and most people absolutely lurve happy endings. So don't rain on the parade, baby.

  • @GuinnevereB Listen to her singing Memory from Cats and get back to me.

  • @leadoff123 I agree with every word of this. No one else seems to have the same feelings.. Urgh. The cast of Les Mis was amazing though, as always.

  • @leadoff123 : This was a poor video. You make the mistake of equating musical perfection with

musical emotion, which always wins. Sorry.

  • @leadoff123 I can't speak for this specific video because the sound sucks and I can't even hear it, but if you watched her performance on BGT or seen her sing just about anywhere, you would realize just how stupid your statement is. She has an INCREDIBLE voice. Now, you can say you aren't a fan, she isn't your cup of tea, you don't like her style, etc....because those are opinions and you are entitled to them. But to say she isn't good at all? Just stupid. S

  • @leadoff123 You poor imbecile.

  • @leadoff123 ok that's dumb man lol how can you be famous by not being attractive...Hello? have you ever lived in this world? lol practically all stars are good looking lol don't give me that bullcrap. She's talented and that's it PERIOD! Obviously you didn't go far in your music career:)

  • @Laguna865 He is right its through get famous quick schemes like BgT and Xfactor that people who have less tallent than those who stand up everynight and play the role of Fantine in les mis to thousands of people a week, are more famous.

shes an ok singer. but Listen to Ruthi Henshall sing i Dreamed a Dream, or Spike Grimsey (the understaudy for Thenadier) sing master of the house... thats real tallet.

  • @Classicalytrained dude i just listened to Ruthie Henshall singing I dreamed a dream...if ur telling me that she sings way better than susan boyle then i dont know what to tell you cuz to be honest they have approximately the same incredible voice. You know what both of us are Biased. Ask someone who doesn't know both of em and you'll get a true answer...an unbiased answer. The only difference between these two is their background where Susan Boyle gets a plus:)

  • @Laguna865 The technicality of Ruthies performance is Superb, The notes are hit with ease held for the right ammount of time and there is character in her performance. Susan sings it... the feelings not there and she cant keep up with the technical needs of the song.

Yeah she gives a good performance, but shes not that tallented. There are people far more tallented than Subo that deserve more credit but dont get it. because the truth is there is a harsh reality to the way things work.

  • I dont have a biasness against susan boyle, i think shes a good singer. but what im trying to say is that someone who gives an ok performance, isnt as good as someone who gives a perfect performance. you may think they sound the same, but Subo lacks the technical abilities and any character in the song. Ruthie sings it with passion and she doesnt drop out in the middle of phrases to take a breath.

  • @Classicalytrained I agree with you that she lucks training...how abruptly she finished the song. But she has so much character in her songs! She dreamed this dream for 47 years!!! Every time she sings this song I want to cry because her soul is singing not a trained performer. Her eyes can't lie.

  • @TKDkristina they may not lie (and im in a bad mood tonight so sorry) but she is just a little bit shit.... its an anticlimax to the cast of les mis on the show to see her.....

  • @leadoff123 Actually, it's you who is unattractive -- no matter what you may look like on the outside. Talent rises up, regardless of looks. Blues Traveler, for example. Meatloaf, Bryan Adams... Get a clue.

  • Yes, but Hans-Peter Janssens is terrific! He did a wonderful job!

  • is someone eating crisps while recording this?

  • It was worse sound than it is now?

  • how do they suck when it's ITV that sped up the song and cut it in half and screwed up the orchestration?!

  • Okay, I totally FLIPPED when he said the cast of Les Miserables was joining her. I thought he had said the "original London cast" and I was *so* excited. Of course this wasn't it, but I was still so very, very very happy to see it on the big screen =)

(Even if I am an American unable to travel to Europe to see this ),=

  • It's kind of the original cast. Some of them are playing at this moment, including the horrible Marius. Yet they were very good, because this thing was just butchered by ITV, in real they're a lot better :)

  • @Katrien1989 I think that Jon Robyns should be there playing the role of marius...

  • sounds ok just not enough volume

  • me encanta les miserables!!! gran historia!!!!!!! la amo!!!!!!

y mas esta cancion!!!!! susan boyle lo interprete perfectamente!!!

  • Great! The sound is good!

  • the volume is too low

  • I have a sound problem, too, The sound is very quiet and tinny.

  • I'll try to re do it and improve the sound. Thanks for letting me know.

  • principal Javert is Hans Peter Janssens... however, in this video, it's his understudy, Jeff Nicholson. Who is amazing.

  • I saw Jeff too! He was fantastic. I also had understudies for Fantine and Marius. I don't think I've ever seen such amazing understudies,

  • Hi, This is Dalgetty, does any else have a sound problem with this video? It's OK on my PC. Please let me know.

  • @Dalgetty11 - Yeah the sounds is messed up.

  • @Dalgetty11

yes it is very quiett x

  • @Dalgetty11 i have a problem with the sound too

  • @Dalgetty11 i have sound probs with it

  • @Dalgetty11 Major tinny soft audio.

  • NO SOUND!!!!!!!!!!
