Jason, this is the quintecential masterpiece of the greatness of African people around the world. With your post and other You Tube postings of this gem from the pen of Charles Stepney and Richard Rudolph, there have been over 1,161,229 hits. Thank you, Thank you!!! - Onaje Allan Gumbs.
this jam goes so hard!...if you peep their first self titled album u notice minnie passin a joint around on the back of the cover...minnie used to def get loose
I knew when I was listening to the Nuyorican version (for many years!!!!) that there had to be an original lurking in the background somewhere... it had a real "Blaxploitation" feel to it... from the early 70's... but to be honest never looked into it because I loved the vibe so much...
...easy going summer night... a large mojito... and lie back on the sand and watch the sun go down...
41 years old now...simply amazing......
