I own four AKs and the Arsenal SGL-31 (AK-74M) is the best I've seen. Russian made receivers and chrome barrels. I saw one of these CA AKs in a gun shop today for $900 and thought it was a joke. For $900, I'd buy another Arsenal or Bulgarian made.

@fetus2genius1 Arsenal makes a great AK, they are the standard. However I wanted something different and would put this up against a Arsenal as far as performance. I'm no gun expert but this is a Great AK-47 as far as not having any problems, accuracy and looks. I can assure you that I am plenty satisfied and have never though to myself "I Should Have Bought and Arsena" but thanks for the comment.

I have always been drawn to the looks of an AK but I wanted something tactical also. This was the perfect match for me and it's made in the USA. The Bad Guy gun haha.

@xlxgambitxsx It hasn't been out that long, that is just the model name and number of the rifle. As far as the other AK goes, without any hands on time with the firearm I CAN'T make that decision for you bro. Just watch as many reviews and find out all the information you can about both and pull the trigger.

@xlxgambitxsx My experience so far with this rifle has been money, no issues, no problems, it has a milled receiver which makes it a step above most stamped receiver AK's. The cost is a little more but is also is ready to add any rail attachment you would like. One thing I did notice was the new Magpul vertical foregrip will not fit the rail of theis firearm and stay away from pro-mag.

@MrBuster128 Well of course I am going to tout mine lol but Arsenal is the top of the line as far as I have heard. My buddy has a Gp Wasr Romanian Ak-47 and has had ZERO trouble with it. Matter of a fact he mad e a comment to me that he likes his Wasr more than his Bushmaster M4.
