Hey xheli, I just purchased this heli on amazon (sorry, you were out of stock) but I do plan on ordering batteries and maybe the normal colored canopy if mine comes as the bird. Realistically what is the flight time on this? I was wondering if the heli is powerful enough for me to add a second battery and wire it in parallel. Cant wait to order more batts for it anyway. Charging at 1c is so slow, but with an unprotected lipo cell, im not gonna risk anything higher.

I purchased one about 6mos. ago and it functions great! Keep in mind: Throtle control! The higher you fly it outside the more adverse the wind effects it. Inside: Don't fly it into the ceiling or it will rappidly desend to the floor! Trim it before you take it up high! Always charge it before storing! Don't be shy about replaceing batteries, especially in its controller. Adviseable NOT to fly it on windy days! Good Luck and happy flying!

It only goes up and down. I didnt buy itfrom Xheli though, flea market. Dont risk it. And once its 15 ft above ground, its gone.

@xhelicopter I've been having trouble with my heli the last couple of days, it will only get about 4 feet high and it takes about 3 seconds to respond to any movement would you have any idea what's wrong?

I didn't charge mine for about 3 to 4 months and now it wont turn on when it's charged, does anyone have an idea of what is wrong?

@MrGoldenpigeon could be that the battery died or the charger is not functional. You should always leave the battery at least 80% charged when your storing them

i charged mine and it flies good for 10 seconds and then it just starts to hover on the ground. :(

This heli is bullshit, i just received mine and it doesn't even ascend from the ground, apparently xheli is not answering any comments that are mentioning the problem of not ascending from the ground but they are all about xcnvas or whatever the username is who is probably one of their own fucking employees just to prove how good their customer service is, Sorry Xheli, this is a Fail right out of the box.......

i recently got a 9051a eagle rc helicopter, i charged it all night and when i woke up it was fully charged i tried it and the helicopter does not ascend but when i keep holding the left throttle stick up on the transmitter after 15 seconds it completly runs out of battery and stops.so, what my problem is, the helicopter is not flying of the ground and after 15 seconds it runs out of battery for some reason. Ive tried this about 10 times, didnt work once.

hey i have the same problem, i have figured out that the battery is not running out, this heli is a piece of crap and is underpowered right out of the box and i dont know how can a well named company like xheli sell a product that doesn't even get off the ground, it is a damn rc car with blades, let me know of the solution if you find one, thanks

Oh boy! Got mine about 2 weeks ago. . .apparently it was the wrong charger, as the supplied charger has no indicator light. So, I charged the thing for the prescribed 2.5 hours, and still nothing. Chatted with Xheli, and they asked me if my charger had a light. I said "no", and they said they would send me the correct charger. I recieved today another package from Xheli, and it was THE EXACT SAME CHARGER!  So, there sits a 9051 that I can't fly. Getting angry with Xheli.

TO charge up the battery on this helicopter does the helicopter has to be on or off and what else must I know to successfully power up this model, I cant seem to get enough energy to lift the helicopter off the ground, please help thanks

@wesil7 bit of a late answer, but yes, power OFF while charging. other wise your using up the power as it gets charged..
