I stand corrected. The "Bodhisattva Cathedral" on the Japanese and American releases seem to differ from each other. The American version has a length of 2:09 and the Japanese version is 4:52 minutes long. Why they felt they had to change that is beyond me but FUCK YOU GENEON.

For the record, the song that plays at 2:58 is NOT "Bodhisattva Of Cathedral" It's not on either of the OSTs and you'll probably never find it. Trust me, I've been looking for it for a long time now.

Well the only thing I like about this scene is that they got the gun right. In the manga, Alucard started out with the Casull then the Jackal as shown here. Ultimate made it the Jackal only with no hint of the Casull being shown.

@RockerReview Well, I don't think its that people just switched from this to the OVA series. I think its just people never truly liked this series anyway, this strays too much from the manga. The OVA is hitting it dead on.

Animations, colors (blu-ray disc ftw), story, voices and everything is by far much better in japanese. Alucard has Sol Badguy's voice afterall... =3

@MastaDRD Both series had problems, none are perfect by any means. The action scenes were terrible in the tv series, the dialogue was mutilated in Ultimate, the reliance on Alucard is absurd in Ultimate and makes you wonder what is the point in the Hellsing organization's human squads?.

Anyway without getting into too many details, TV Series had little pay off for build up and Ultimate had little build up and more pay off than it deserved. That's pretty much the 2 series in a nut shell.
