Palin cancelled the bridge after federal funding was reduced more than doubling Alaska's costs. The validity of her claim to be opposed to the corrupt practice of earmark spending has to be doubted unless she can come up with something else beside this one self-evidently questionable example. Good video but you need to get the additional facts IN the video - I know they are lies but the general public en masse is unaware and it is those who need to be aware of the control of information being exerted on them. When 100% of reporting is lies and distortions (as is the case with Fox) SOME are accepted to be true without question. It isnt an uneducated public, its an unaware public. No kemosabe, the American people killed the bridge. They were so outraged that so many of them contacted their Reps. and Sens. that the Congress was forced to intervene and pull the funding.

Palin then reallocated some of the funds that had already been awarded.

Palin supported the bridge from the start and even mocked public opinion when it was clear that they were about to disrupt the entire project.

She is campaigning and lying that she was always against this bridge and even if congress gave them full funding she would say no thanks. Alaskans get more federal money per capita than any other state, but they pay the same amount in federal taxes. How can McCain run on ending pork-barrel spending and pick the governor of Alaska the state which gets the most pork?
