@Toemaster We already won the bid, financing or league isnt the issue, its quality of location, security and access and frankly the people behind the olympic bid clearly didnt want visitors to Sheffield seeing the Bramall lane area, which is one of the shittest and ugliest parts of sheffield or perhaps it was the history of violence in and around bramall lane ? or maybe even the way your club humiliated itself over the whole Tevez Saga ? Or perhaps the fact your club is in £46 million debt

@Toemaster Im doing a masters at Manchester Uni and my job for when I finish uni is already secured and starts at 25 grand. I got a first in my degree mate.

Also when we were last in league one our attendances substantially rose, it wont cover the lack of championship sky money but will at least make us financially stable. We have been running at a profit for years now while your team have spent irresponsibly and got away with it.

I think, compared to the Bramall Lane plans, Hillsborough still has the look of a traditional football ground and not a leisure centre.

Honestly can't wait, Hillsborough always has been an amazing place to go to, but soon it's gonna be immense.

Along with transport links, higher capacities and the added plus point of having the extra surrounding land (Hillsborough park) for 'beambacks' and WC celebrations.

Definately a strong contender.

this staduim was somewhere all supporters wanted to visit especially as it was always chosen for the FA cup semis, the city of sheffield should unite and create a staduim fit to hold semi finals again in some capacity, went there in 87 and I honestly can say it was a superb atmosphere in a wonderful staduim, shame the FA moved everything down to wembley. thats football now money money money!!!!
