Clearviewmike: Your comment made me laugh and I feel your pain. Ironically enough, I was born and raised on the western slope of the Colorado Rockies and now live in Las Vegas too. Every time someone tells me that the foothills behind my home (Green Valley) are "mountains", I just politely giggle. If you want to see "mountains" go to Colorado, Alaska, the Alps, the Himalayas, Utah, Canada, Chile and Venezuela, northern California, Tibet, Nepal and so on... peace
I am from Austria (Europe), from Tyrol [tirol] and we have also a wonderfull wildlive there. But our villages are not so wide and our mountain national parks are rather smaller xD !! This clip (our video) was amazing!!!
I'm really interested in your Rocky Mountains! Once i read a book about chatching a grissley bear. [THE BEAR] named "Thor". It was in German.
xDD
I hope you hit me back XD!! [ and I hope you could read my english ] BYE
I live in the south dakota prarie, I've only seen the rockies from a distance (when I went to a rockies baseball game) and I wish I had the time to visit them...o god...please let be be there!
As someone who lived in Colorado for 32 of my 33 years and is temporarily not there...this video helps bring me back home. My husband and I regularly used to hike and snowshoe RMNP so to see pics like this helps to bring me back home. Thanks. Great video!
I hope you do, Andre. I finally made it there last week after 2 decades of Colorado dreaming. It's as beautiful as my dreams and the music it has inspired. For the first time I was inspired to capture a place in video. Check out my videos.
Absolutely wonderful, divine!!It's just like a dream!!Each time I see these videos showing the Rockies, I can understand why my dear John Denver loved them so much. If God allows me one day, I want to know this beautiful place. God bless Colorado forever!!!
This is lovely. I can tell you paid careful attention to matching images to specific lyrics. I'm a British Columbia girl (long ago happily transplanted from New England) myself but now I'd like to see this different mountainous terrain.
Thank you for the video and reminding me of all the reasons I live in Colorado. I love it here and I don't think there is any other place I'd rather be.
Thanks for posting I am only in my first year in high school but For college I am headed out west of the US. I would like to Play in the NBA in the western confrence and I really like mountains and snow but for now I live in south Florida and nice song!
I also love john denvers music, and it really fits here. He loved the mountains, just as we do. Cant wait to see the mountains in summer and fall. Great montage.
Great scenery, and with a photo camera? Big memory storage there. I just got back from my first trip to colorado, crested butte, gunnison area. First time to see snow, as well as be on a plain. I was enchanted with the locals and the diff way of life there. I would love to go in summer and hike, bike, and camp...being from South Texas, I love to walk the Big thicket trails and take pics. I have over 500 pictures from our 5 day stay at CB, Colorado.
we have the begingin of the rockies here in alberta, and they are absouluty gourgeos. nivce vid, i guess the rockies are beautiful the whole way down.
Awesome video. It makes me homesick for Colorado. I grew up in Colorado Springs, but had to move to Wichita, Kansas with my family, and you can't get that beautiful scenery here in Kansas.
That was very nice. I worked out there as a stable trail guide for a couple of years in the late '80s in and around Estes Park. On a day off every two weeks I'd try to get out and do a little hiking. Someday I'll get back out there, this time for vaction. Would be nice to work back out there again though.
I am from Colorado. I lived in Estes Park until I was 11 and we moved to Fort Collins where I graduated from Rocky Mountain High School. I have lived in Nebraska for 17 years and I get so homesick if I don't get home at least every six months. I want to thank you for lighting up this dreary Omaha,Nebraska day for me.
Nicely Done!!
