  • Yeah most 3x00 motors sound like that with an intake, my old beretta i had years ago sounded almost identical to this with the 3100 motor with an intake.

  • that sounds great, nice wheels bro

  • WTF i have the same car but my speedometer only goes up to 110! lol no fair. mine sounds louder though

  • @XDachievements its in kph

  • Damn that thing is slow.

  • just needs boost.

  • That's for the 3800 Series IV lol.

  • O yeah i forgot about fuel economy lol. 61 mile for gallon for the highway lol. City 32. Just talking but cool if it happen lol.

  • pretty slow for a gt and i hav noticed i have a 2000gp gt n/a and it does 0-60 in 7.2 but it shifts from first to second at 55mph. but other gp's i saw shifted from 1st to 2nd at 40mph to 50mph

  • The Grand Prix was designed for women. Sporty little grocery getters that's all. That's why I bought my wife one. It's got on star, lots of buttons and knobs, and various useless information on the dash, like low gas, oil quality etc. This information was put in so the typical woman wouldn't run it into the ground in 6 months. Mashing the throttle on a 120,524mi. 3800, grocery getter is pretty useless. Sensor issues, cat. problems, and a loose front end is all you're gonna get horsing this car.

  • @GrubSlayer Dude, the 3800 is a pretty solid engine, I've seen over 500hp out of the engine with a good turbo setup, you're just hatin'

  • @nik12937 Yeah,.... it IS solid, but it is NOT a racer. Throw that same "500hp Turbo Money" into any small-block 350/TH-400. and it will wipe it's ass with any turbo 3800cc. in it's way. Hey man, each to his own, but I prefer the solid, inexpensive, and performing nature of the 350ci. platform instead of breaking the bank trying to turn a 3800 into a basic HO 350ci. Just look up monster 350's, and tell me your turbo3800 stands a chance.

  • @GrubSlayer Oh, it does

  • @nik12937 Congratz! You are the biggest fucking retard I've ever spoken to, bar none! I'm sorry, I thought you knew what you were talking about. By all means, don't listen to a race car driver and mechanic. Good luck with your ignorance.

  • @GrubSlayer I'm now blocking you because, yes your "That" fucking stupid.

  • @GrubSlayer Congratulations! congratz isn't even a word, so I'm surprised that someone with a limited vocabulary such as yourself could even be a mechanic! Unfortunately you also seem to have never understood what fucking sarcasm is, I was agreeing with you indirectly. Here's a tip: learn to respect others, it really helps in life, maybe then you can get a career instead of racing cars!

    GET FUCKED

  • Yeah love the car i have one too. I like to put the E-Brake on for more spinning but i didn't want to burn them off. WILL SOON UNTIL I GET NEW ONES ON AFTER I SPIN THE OLD ONES LOL) My is a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with air aid throttle body spacer. It helps for mid range power up to 17hp and torque 21. The power range for RPM between 800 to 2500. That's where you hear the whistle sound and pull as well. Then i also put two in a half stainless steel exhaust with a one Magnaflow muffler. Cont.

  • after the cat and the O2 sensor towards the back direction. and 3in Magnaflow tips 15 degree cut off and around. That's for the tips all Stainless steel exhaust.

I also have 8mm Taylor spark wires and they are blue. Not much mods but will be soon for fun i guess.

  • Grand Prix GTs are pretty damn fast. Beats a lot of stuff on the road.

  • sounds great bro! i just got a Weapon R intake on my pontiac and im putting it in on friday its gonna be fast as heck hopefully

  • decent

  • @JJ388JAr gotcha, the 3800 is a power plant engine and you can do so many things with it. Its pretty much an indestructible engine. I know a guy who was running a 100 shot of nitrous on a stock motor with a top swap and he was killin 5.7's all day.

  • @JJ388JAr you do know thats in km/h right?

  • well besides the first one. he hits it at 2 secs and hits 60 at around 7. so were you got 7.9 idk... just sayingggg

  • idk man.this seems kinda slow.im not knockin u but i have an 01 gt coupe and i pull probably a lil harder than this and all i have is a drop in K&n and magnaflow cat.i did 5 test runs to 60 and my worst was 8.1 sec.my best was 7.7.im timing your runs and you seem to be floating around 7.9-8.5 sec.

  • @halow4 doesnt seem like hes punching it out of the hole.. the inserts were known to drop a little bit of low end power tho.. i hav an hv3, wizaired, 2.5 hiflow catted dp, and slightly tuned. think im getting ER rockers soon.. i gotta get some runs on camera but shes too loud now lol (check vids)

  • @shortkid987 im actually going with the same setup.do you notice much greater power with the intake, downpipe, and hv3?

  • Dont turbo it or have another couple grand saved for a tranny! I say do the ER rockers and downpipe next. My set up is an intake, PCM, ER rockers, HV3, 2 1/2 in downpipe and Magnaflow mufflers. I get 0-60 mph in about 6 seconds but i guess i wasted my money!

  • I remember when my SE was that slow... Just fucking with ya man. I will say, don't waste your money trying to build an N/A 3800. Either top swap or turbo it.
