@gazz12345a I do agree that ECW's content was overdone with the violence. But because of that intensity, there was a sense of passion that built on it. Plus they were the first brand to go for something like that...and it appealed to a group of audience that spread very quickly. The reason why ECW never got that much exposure is cos major networks were too scared of ECW and its content to put them on air. Vince helped, no doubt, but he also got his Attitude Era idea from ECW...that's undeniable.

ECW was always about doing things that the other companies wouldn't do. they brought technical wrestlers when the WWE was all about big slumbering steroid filled men. they brought the entire cruiserweight division to america and are still the only promotion that ever got it right. while the hardcore style is the thing that the company....

I loved this at the time. It was crazy seeing the owners of the 3 best companies at the time, standing in the ring together. The amount of hatred in that ring at that moment was through the roof. Bischoff was a driving factor of ECW's demise, Vince was a driving factor of WCW's demise and Paul Heyman helped Vince get rid of Bischoff from the WWE. I wouldve loved to see all three in business today as the owners of their own companies, all of them the size of WWE today. That would be a real war!
