That's true, but no one in this group had any gear at all past -maybe- Magtheridon, with the exception of what was available from the IQD badge vendor. Even then you couldn't just walk into most of the raid content with it and faceroll. It's not like it is today =/

i wants to see a mage or a priest tank now!!! mages do tons of dmg + ice block so they might be good tanks but without shadowform it probably would be tough :P

I'd have to agree there, Mages trying to do this and actually take the -physical- hits off of a raid boss might be a little overwhelming, but even with Shadowform up, the armor isn't a straight additional 15% armor, but it stacks mutliplicatively... although every little bit of armor helps XD

Even though it seems pointless, I did it to prove the fact it could be done. Thus, the point is to prove people that almost anything is possible.

Also, this is around the same lines of Moonkin tanking... not the most practical thing to do, but the point is that, once again, it's possible to do.
