@CrimsonKing73 Not that Stan was old (only two years older than Hardy), but that was quite ill through the filming. After he recovered, he and Hardy toured Europe in the early 50s and he looked much better and stronger. This film was a real mess. Made in Europe in 1950, some of the cast spoke their lines in Italian, some spoke lines in French and L & H in English. They dubbed the others depending on the market! Years later Stan said that he should have never completed it.

Nobody ever mentions the great mime scene with Stan and the wine glass.
Am I the only one who thinks it is fantastic?!
The scene with the pet lobster is fine too.

it's funny at certain times, but sad to watch Stan, because he looks SO old here....Ollie actually looks better than him.
