This video is a little extreme, but there are plenty of women who get jealous easily. It doesn't normally come out of nowhere. They have probably had bad experiences in their current or previous relationships. When you've been screwed over before, you can't help being on guard.

This is my ex exactly to a tee. Along with various other negative traits. I was in this situation last year, at a festival when a woman asked me for a cigarette. My ex went crazy- said I must have done something for this woman to have asked ME. Although we didn't have children, she always hypothesised on the situation that if we did, and something she didnt like were to happen she would disappear with the children. Emotional abuse. Borderline Personality Disorder. I feel genuinely sorry for her.

We are responsible to our children in so many ways, including who we choose as their other parent. In the case of the character portrayed in this video, he owes a large debt to his daughter for choosing such an emotionally disturbed mother, and exposing her to that sickness so that the child grows up believing it's normal.

Just like my ex gf, I knew as I watched him pick that bag up, that he was going to get it. My ex would have freaked on me. She would have said, "why are you being so nice to her? You don't do stuff like that for me" Accept she would wait till she was drinking to say that, then she would hit me.

@NightShadeslayer , yes, it is very realistic. I have an abusive member of my family, but she is my sister (not my wife). She has yelled at me for very tiny things, including being nice to other people. Even when I asked her what time someone was coming to the house, she yelled at me. Sorry, this video is very, very realistic. One of the reasons I watch it is that it reminds me of my sister and watching it helps me somehow.

This is domestic abuse... the psychological kind. They should make an ad like this because it is not just women who suffer from domestic abuse. I know this very well because my mother is psychologically abusive. Treat your man how you would want to be treated, with respect... And not all girls end up like their mothers! @SocialLocust Very true, but somehow society depicts a strong sex bias with domestic abuse: The man is the hitter and the woman is the jealous nag. We need more PSAs showing these roles reversed, not only to educate but to let people in these situations know that they are not alone.

This is painful to watch. I wish more people understood how severely distressing it is to be emotionally blackmailed, to have your intentions distorted and twisted, to feel absolutely helpless. You feel beaten. You give in. This happens to both men and women. It's terrible for any human being to have to go through. Emotional abuse is thought by some to be even more devastating than physical abuse. The scars of emotional abuse can take several years to heal. This is no joke.

This so reminded me of my wife's jealousy. She has gotten so much better, but when jealousy rears it ugly head, it's very much like this video. For my wife I was always "too" something -- too friendly, too many smiles, too early, too late. I can remember coming home a few minutes late from work and being asked "why are you late - what female were you talking to?" There is nothing that ever made me more furious than the false accusations coming from my jealousy wife.
