I used to be terrified of spiders, and then one day I just told myself to get the f*ck over it, and I did. I had a mama Wolfie and her babies living in my hallway a few weeks ago. She's gone now, so they must have moved on. I don't mind spiders in my house because they get rid of the other bugs.

I found one of these in the garage once. I ran and grabbed a can of hairspray and a bic lighter. When I hit it with the flame... it looked like a firework going off. Hundreds of little sparks in every direction. It was beautiful. Did I mention I hate spiders.

I think that the Carolina Wolf Spider is so interesting! I mean carrying her babies till they're old enough to hunt for themselves, how neat is that.

We actually kept one of these as a pet till we found out it was a female...oops. Check out the footage we got of her in my video, Orla's Ark Backyard Safari.

BTW thanks for letting the spiders go, they love to eat bugs, like mosquitoes. Loved it!
