The French and the Germans are not prepared to transfer sums to poorer Eurozone partners in the way that the UK (Barnett formula), the USA and Canada do... These are real political and fiscal unions.

The Eurozone has no plans for this, they are only prepared to bail them out in order to pay the debts that they owe to banks in France and Germany.

What kind of solidarity is that?
