it's definetely one of the tier 3 cars, maybe muscle or exotic, the best car in the game i reckon is the Audi le mans/R8 but you only get it once you finished the game otherwise a SLR mclaren or even a Murcielago would take the honours

the audi le mans i found slighty boring to drive. If you want something fast and exciting, the corvette z06 is a good one to drive , the slr is a good one, my favourite has to be the porsche carrera gt

The Audi LeMans/ R8 might be the fastest exotic vehicle in the game

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren might be a better one for example.

My favourite vehicles are the Lamborghini Murcielago, Porsche Carrera GT, Dodge Viper, Dodge Challenger, and the Chevrolet Corvette Z06.
