  • what straight razor is the best and where can i get em, wallgreens, cvs?

  • Nice series. But how do you make it dark enough to not see the scalp?

  • @DirectorJavaun Don't cut it. Let it grow

  • @alsmillions

So a dark Caesar is bascially a regular haircut?

  • the fat kid is feeling like a million bucks

  • @madzikud02

    He's not fat.

    He's just not tall enough

  • what kind of hair brush is that you're using on your clients, what's the name of it? and where can i get one?

  • That is a fresh cut nigga

  • Its annoying see this kind of quality haircut and thinkin "thats exactly what i want" then realizing u will never get it in this city (London) lol no1 seems to have the passion for it anymore, just the money

  • @PassionateVipez

I have to agree with you on this one, I'm from London and some barbers don't have the passion :/

  • @agent648 go to san antonio texas well hook u up :

  • hey als! very nice video that cut look shaarrrppp.. im wondering, what is the best type of razor? the straight razor or the safety razor (disposable blades)? its just for grooming myself, i want to learn

    Thanks

  • I use promate and personna disposable razors.

  • i do that too.. hairgel works way better than shaving cream

  • Hey man nice shape up by the way..Whats that clear gel on your clients face and what the name of it??

  • That's shaving gel. It's called "King Of Shaves" and you can get it at CVS.

  • what are those shaper razors called i'm gonna cop one?

  • That's a Personna blade. I also use Promate blades too

  • this is mi favorite haircut style

  • I see man. Thanks. What are some good barber school on the east coast do you know? Maybe around Philly or NYC Bmore.. Thanks again..

  • nice...Many barbers don't cut like that..It's usually try to get you in and out... I go to the barber to get a professional cut....Excellent tho.....Two Q's did you leave his hair line in the front like that because u didn't want to push it back? I noticed you tried to keep his hairline as close to natural as possible should you do this even if it's not as straight as it could be? Thanks man I'm not a licensed barber as you can tell..Just like to cut and I'm trying to learn..

  • Thanks Bruh, Yea, you never want to take the client's hairline too far. When it starts to grow back(in 3 days), he has an ugly mess. Always use their natural line and then work to even it up taking care not to push it back. This client has a "V" point and to completely remove that you would have to go back 1". That's crazy.

  • Whattup Al,

I was just wondering...what straight razor are you using here. Those look like personna blades but whats the holder your using?

Thanks Brotha, your cuts are mad tight. I'll be posting some real soon, hopefully I could get some comments from you.

    Thanks,

    Kev

  • You're right!

It's an old Personna - Pirouette Razor. The new ones come with fancy handles. This also comes with a tooth guard for safety but is also good trimming wild hairs. I can't wait for you to get into action, I look forward to it.

    Take care

  • what do you use at the end of the cut? i notice its not alcohol

  • Just a lightly fragranced astringent that has alcohol in it.

  • I like how you worked with that crazy hair line without taking it all the way back.
