I agree ford 300 inline 6 was the best 6 ford ever made. Gear Drive too no timing chain to worry about. Pistons were huge and sucked gas. Carter YF 1bbl carb was crap though. Need offenhouser 4bbl conversion kit. Also crawford makes a split exhaust manifold too. Loved my 86 f150 low hp but torque monster.
