This was recorded when Sinatra (long since) had reached a point where he couldn't really sing. His voice cracks, his range is diminished. I love the song. But Bennett makes him look bad. He just should've stayed retired. The shame of it is...Sinatra was utterly brilliant. Listen to him in his prime (primarily 19040s and 50s) and he is as good as there was. This guy stumbling around trying to croak out the high notes...that's not Frank Sinatra, just what was left. Shame so many have only this

I haven't been back to NYC since before 9/11. I'm just so used to seeing those towers at the south end of Manhattan and after living in NYC before my teens, it's just really tough for me to see it without one of its most prominent landmarks. I'll say one thing, the cop cars sure looked a lot different back then (they were blue w/white markings) and everywhere you went you had to watch out for Yellow Cab or they'd run you over, LOL.

I visited NY twice, last July for my engagement and again in January 2010. What an amazing place. My wife and I did so many things in 7 days it was incredible. Of course the first thing anyone could do is to watch the "Phantom of the Opera" at Majestic Theater on Broadway and 46th St. Then of course off to Little Italy for some great pasta. Then the Empire State Building. We also did the helicopter ride and the Ferry. But in January I went back because we had 2 tickets to Russell Peters show.
