  • Gregorian chant is no the product of an ethnical o regional tradition. It is the result of the fussion of all musical currents and stiles of the iokumene, the entire known wold of that time.

Therefore, it is an universal lenguage, completely valid for Japan, Rome or the centre of Africa.

God bless you brothers and sisters!!!

  • Baeutifull! a pleasure to see that non-europeans catholics are also interested in gregorian chant!

    Thanks

    Pax et Bonum

  • Well, I regard the supposed "non-interest" about Gregorian chant and Latin out of Europe as a blatant lie. Some of the most beautiful Tridentine Masses and mos beautiful choruses are not to be found in Europe.

We're all ONE Church, and I hope some priests that still struggle with the will of Pope Benedict, like Fr. Masiá, SJ, see the truth

  • @donhenri01 Thank you for your hearty messege. I'm a member of the Catholic Action Fellowship Association based in Tokyo, which is the organizer of the Mass you watched in the film above. I'm happy to know that you are a young man from France. Catholic countries in Europe are on the verge of a crisis of faith. I hope they will deepen their faith again through the beauty of solemn liturgy and music. I would like you to pray for our county where the majority of people don't know Christ.
