Is there a snake called the Tioman Pit Viper? I remember watching a search for the snake and I can't remember if it's called that or not. They're small, green, found in Indonesia (I believe) and don't quite look like vipers.
I noticed that you always yous tweezers or somthing while you are feeding your beautiful BEAUTIFUL snakes but can they hit the metal when they are striking and get ingured or possible if the bite the tweezers break a fang?
Love those Insularis! I keep my Cryptelytrops very wet. Live plants help with the humidity and misting often also helps and prevents shedding problems. If your cage bottom is waterproof u can use clay pebbles covered by a mesh and then use ordinary soil on top of that. Then keep water level at half the clay pebble height. Works perfectly! =)
Do venomous snakes have a problems with too much stress? Some venomous snakes seem to strike at anything that moves. At the reptile zoo I volunrteer at they have a w. diamondback rattler that never stops striking and rattling.
just another day at Al's serpentarium lol i really love your videos Al -0 theyre very informative and if i do say so myself they are all hilarious at one point or another
what do u do for a living that allows you to afford all these snakes and cages and food for the snakes and not to mention all the tape for your camera?
No, I don't think so. As segments are used I delete the raw video from my PC. I am not perfect and do make mistakes but none of this video has been aired before.

Sure they can but I try always to present the food in a way so they don't. No other option and don't want to use my fingers.

The fangs grow back beside if you can't keep them HOT you should not be keeping them at all anyway.

I'm not so sure it's stress but some snakeves are very twitchy & defensive. Others are laid-back...

omg the names of these snakes are so great. The green tree python people with their snooty and serious snake names could learn something here.
